Los Angeles Clippers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Minnesota Timberwolves take a trip to Los Angeles for a Western Conference clash with the Clippers on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

The Clippers lost their second straight overtime game 134-124 in Denver on Sunday afternoon. The Timberwolves lost their third straight game 109-104 on the road against the Golden State Warriors.<\/p>\n

This will be the third and final game in a regular season series that Minnesota evened up 1-1 after beating Los Angeles 128-115 at home on January 6th. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST\/7:00 PST as the nightcap of a TNT Tuesday night doubleheader.<\/p>\n

OT Plagues Los Angeles<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Clippers fell to 33-30 on the season after losing an overtime game in Denver. The Nuggets dominated the glass with a 50-38 rebounding edge.<\/p>\n

Kawhi Leonard led his team in scoring with 33 points on 12-19 from the field. Paul George added 23 points while Russell Westbrook chipped in with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.<\/p>\n

They also lost in double overtime 176-175 against Sacramento on Friday. The Clippers currently occupy the 5th seed in the Western Conference, 10.5 games behind the first place Nuggets. Los Angeles ranks only 23rd in scoring with 112.7 points a game on 47.2% from the field.<\/p>\n

Defense is their calling card as they sit 13th in defensive rating and 11th in defensive scoring with 112.5 points allowed per game. Ivica Zubac is listed as questionable with a calf injury and he is only player currently listed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wolves Hit Three Game Skid<\/h3>\n

The Minnesota Timberwolves fell a game below .500 at 31-32 after losing in Golden State on Sunday. Free throws proved to be the difference as the Warriors shot 16-22 for 73% from the charity stripe while Minnesota went only 11-21 for 52%.<\/p>\n

Naz Reid led his team in scoring and rebounding with 30 points and 9 rebounds. Anthony Edwards, Kyle Anderson and Jaden McDaniels each scored 12 points.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves currently occupy the 9th seed in the Western Conference, two games behind the Clippers and only a half game away from missing the play-in tournament altogether.<\/p>\n

Minnesota is the 10th ranked scoring offense with 115.5 points a game on 49% from the field. They sit 11th in defensive rating and 19th in defensive scoring with 115.7 points allowed per game. Rudy Gobert (illness) and Jaylen Nowell (knee) are both listed as questionable for this contest.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Clippers enter this contest as 6 point home favorites with a total set at 233. We have another showdown between teams separated by only two games in the standings.<\/p>\n

Both sides have seen some high scoring games recently with Minnesota going over the total in six of their last nine games and Los Angeles going over in four straight games.<\/p>\n

The last two Clippers games have seen ridiculous combined points of 258 and 351 as they have upped their tempo since acquiring Russell Westbrook. The Timberwolves play at the leagues 7th fastest pace and if Gobert is out they will play with a faster pace.<\/p>\n
