The Pistons were defeated 95-91 at home against the Toronto Raptors.<\/p>\n This will be the third of four games in a regular season series that Detroit leads 2-0 after beating Charlotte 118-112 on February 3rd. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST\/4:00 PST from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.<\/p>\n The Charlotte Hornets improved to 19-43 on the season after beating Miami on Saturday. They dominated the glass with a 48-42 rebounding advantage.<\/p>\n Gordon Hayward led the team in scoring with 21 points on 8-14 from the floor. Lamelo Ball recorded a 19 point,13 assist double-double as did rookie Center Mark Williams who had 18 points and 20 rebounds.<\/p>\n The Hornets are starting to move in the wrong direction in the standings as they now have the leagues 4th worst record after winning four straight games.<\/p>\n Charlotte ranks 24th in scoring with 112.6 points a game on 45.5% from the field. The defense sits at 23rd in defensive rating and 28th in defensive scoring with 118.6 points per game.<\/p>\n PJ Washington is listed as doubtful for this contest due to a foot injury while Cody Martin has been ruled out due to a knee injury.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Detroit Pistons record dropped to 15-46 on the season losing their fourth straight game to Toronto on Saturday night.<\/p>\n Free throws proved to be the difference as the Raptors went 22-34 from the charity stripe while Detroit went only 9-14. Marvin Bagley III led the team in scoring and rebounding with 21 points and 18 rebounds off the bench.<\/p>\n We also saw double-doubles from Jaden Ivey with 10 points, 10 assists and James Wiseman with 10 points, 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n The Pistons currently sit dead last in the Eastern Conference and have the 3rd worst record in the NBA. Detroit ranks 27th in scoring with 111.8 points a game on 45.4% shooting.<\/p>\n Defense has been bottom of the barrel at 28th in defensive rating and 29th in defensive scoring with 119.3 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n Nerlens Noel (personal) and Jalen Duren (ankle) have both already been ruled out for this contest while Isaiah Stewart (hip):and Bojan Bogdonavic (achilles) are both questionable.<\/p>\n [coupon id=”15928″]<\/p>\n The Charlotte Hornets are 6.5 point home favorites with a total set at 237. This is a classic battle between the Eastern Conferences two worst teams but the Hornets have shown signs of life with four straight wins.<\/p>\n I’m going to be looking at the over 21.5 Points + Rebounds from their rookie Center Mark Williams. The seven footer has cleared this total in two of his last three games with 38, 14 & 22 PR.<\/p>\n He broke out in his last game against the Miami Heat with 18 points and 20 rebounds. The Detroit Pistons allow 8th most points (23.43\/game) and 3rd most rebounds (16.17\/game) to opposing centers.<\/p>\n Opposing rookie Center Jalen Duren has already been ruled out for Detroit while Isaiah Stewart is listed as questionable.<\/p>\n PJ Washington is also listed as doubtful for Charlotte, so the bigs are thin on both sides.
