Empoli vs Napoli Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

There seems to be little derailing this Napoli freight train right now after they came off yet another comprehensive 2-0 victory over in Germany in midweek against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Goals from Osimhen and Di Lorenzo in that game ensure Napoli will hold a huge advantage ahead of game two in Italy in two weeks’ time, and with a 15-point cushion at the top of the Serie A standings as well, it looks as if it could be a golden year for the Neapolitans.<\/p>\n

However, Empoli will likely have something to say about that as they enter Saturday\u2019s matchup on a five-game unbeaten run at home in the league, and beat Napoli in their last fixture here 3-2 back in April also.<\/p>\n

Napoli Never Out Of The Fight<\/h3>\n

Probably the biggest change since Luciano Spalletti took charge at Napoli two years ago has been a much greater emphasis on offense, something that the rest of the Italian league has been a little slow to catch up on.<\/p>\n

Testament to that newfound philosophy is Spalletti\u2019s insistence on playing to the end of a game, and not simply protecting leads, with Napoli scoring 13 goals over the final 15 minutes of regulation in matches this season, the highest frequency in the league overall.<\/p>\n

Empoli Difficult To Beat<\/h3>\n

Sitting a full 11 points above the relegation zone right now and losing just once over the calendar year so far, Napoli should caution against overconfidence here against an Empoli side who have shown themselves difficult to beat this season.<\/p>\n

On top of being not only difficult to beat in general, Empoli have also shown to be a particular thorn in the side of this Napoli team across recent seasons as well, winning both of their two most recent head-to-head Serie A meetings in this venue, and ranking alongside only Inter to have won twice in two seasons against this Napoli team also.<\/p>\n

Empoli vs Napoli Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

While Napoli certainly don\u2019t want to be giving away points at this stage of the season, they\u2019ve built up such a huge lead at the top of the table right now that most of the focus will naturally be placed on claiming the Champions League for Spalletti.<\/p>\n

Outside of club friendlies, Empoli haven\u2019t lost at home since all the way back to October, and have already proved how difficult they\u2019ve been for this Napoli team to break down over recent seasons.<\/p>\n
