Toronto Maple Leafs vs Minnesota Wild Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

After losing five of their six games coming out of the All-Star Break, the Minnesota Wild have since turned things around emphatically, winning four straight games heading into Friday\u2019s matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/p>\n

The Leafs meanwhile have looked patchy over 2023 so far, stringing together a winning streak of at least three games just once across the calendar year so far.<\/p>\n

This will be the second and final meeting between the two teams this season after Toronto beat Minnesota 4-3 in Saint Paul back in November. <\/p>\n

The Maple Leafs vs Wild rivalry has also seen a huge frequency towards the Under in recent years as well, with the Under going 14-4-1 over the last 19 meetings between the two teams.<\/p>\n

Gustavsson Continues His Rock-Solid Form In Nets For The Wild<\/h3>\n

Filip Gustavsson has had a standout season so far for the Minnesota Wild, ranking 3rd in the league overall this year in goals against average at just 2.11 GAA, and ranks 2nd on quality start percentage this season also.<\/p>\n

Gustavsson has continued that solid form of late as well, holding his last four opponents to just 1.50 goals per game on average.<\/p>\n

Toronto Still Firing Offensively<\/h3>\n

The Maple Leafs have been red-hot this season in front of nets, ranking top three in the league in both offensive xG and total scoring chances this year.<\/p>\n

That offensive pressure hasn\u2019t slowed down all that much over recent games either, with Toronto averaging 4.75 goals per game across their last four starts as well.<\/p>\n

We like the Toronto Maple Leafs to get the win at home on Friday night against the Minnesota Wild. Toronto\u2019s defense ranks top five in the league this year in goals against average and ranks top five in power play percentage on offense as well as they’ve continued to get it done at both ends of the ice.<\/p>\n

They also own one of the Eastern Conference\u2019s best overall home records this season also, going 22-6-4 inside Scotiabank Arena this year, and with the favorite in this series winning 17 of the last 22 meetings outright as well, we expect the Leafs to get the job done at home here on Friday.<\/p>\n
