Philadelphia 76ers vs Memphis Grizzlies Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Grizzlies won three out of four before the all-star break to stop the bleeding from their slump (which started with the Shannon Sharpe game), and the break probably came at the best possible time for them as they have a little momentum to build on and a much needed break to regroup.<\/p>\n

The 76ers won four straight going into the break, and look poised to make a serious post-season run in the east if the health Gods are on their side this year.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Rolling<\/h3>\n

Philadelphia’s offense has been a well-oiled machine as they are the 5th best offensive team the last 15 games as Harden seems to be in complete control of this team, and Maxey coming off the bench gives them a huge burst of energy and points against the other teams second unit.<\/p>\n

Embiid is unstoppable at this point, and last time these teams played he had 35 points in a 117-109 loss, but Steven Adams played in that game.<\/p>\n

With Memphis\u2019s bigs constantly getting in foul trouble, Embiid is probably going to attack at will and don\u2019t be surprised if he has a big night at the free throw line as he hits over 85% of free throws, and was 8-9 against the Grizzlies last game.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Buy Low On The Grizzlies?<\/h3>\n

The stock is pretty low on Memphis now, and I wonder if now is the time to start backing them. They have well-documented chemistry issues with Dillon Brooks, and without Steven Adams they just don\u2019t have the discipline needed to be an elite team.<\/p>\n

However, Adams will return and this team is loaded with talent. Even in their slump they\u2019re the 6th best team on defense the last 15 games, but they just aren\u2019t good enough on the road for me.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re 9-18 ATS on the road this season and 11-17 straight up (lost seven straight), and it\u2019s a team I just can\u2019t trust on the road until they prove otherwise.<\/p>\n

Home is a different story, and in fact if you would\u2019ve taken them ATS at home and the opponent ATS on the road this season you would be a slick 35-20 with your bookie surely upset at you.<\/p>\n

This first night off of the all-star break can be difficult as we aren\u2019t 100% sure what players rested and what players partied.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m going to lean with Philadelphia at home in this matchup and I\u2019ll take them on a small bet -3.5 points as I just can\u2019t ignore the home\/road disparity from Memphis.<\/p>\n

When Adams returns for Memphis I\u2019ll probably start backing them, but I don\u2019t trust this team in a big spot, and I don\u2019t trust Clarke and Jackson to stay out of foul trouble and to contain Embiid.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, Philly is the 2nd best team in the league defending point guards, so I think they can do enough to slow down Morant and if Memphis faces adversity tonight, I don\u2019t trust them to handle it properly.<\/p>\n

First night off of all-star break isn\u2019t a night to go big on wagers, but Philly -3.5 certainly looks good to me.<\/p>\n
