RB Leipzig vs Manchester City Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

This match features the two most represented leagues as each of the Bundesliga and Premier League have all four clubs into the knockout rounds.<\/p>\n

Both Bayern and Dortmund were able to win their matches last week, but this is certainly a tall task for Leipzig to try and steal one from the favorites to win it all.<\/p>\n

After a surprise 1-2 home loss to Union Berlin, Leipzig were able to bounce back with a very good 3-0 road win at Wolfsburg over the weekend. That loss vs Berlin was their first since September, a run of 18 home matches unbeaten.<\/p>\n

That run included matches vs Real Madrid and Bayern Munich proving they can clearly earn results against the best clubs in the world. They also have wins over Leverkusen and Dortmund at home this season.<\/p>\n

Manchester City Road Woes<\/h3>\n

Manchester City are simply not the same team on the road as they are at home as evidenced by their inability to even beat Nottingham this past weekend.<\/p>\n

Sure, it was a look ahead spot to this Champions League match, but they have one win over their last five away matches.<\/p>\n

That win was a good one as they beat Arsenal 3-1, but they also lost 0-1 at Tottenham, 1-2 at United and 0-2 at lowly Southampton knocking them out of the EFL Cup.<\/p>\n

Notice a pattern? Their defense continues to well, mostly because they hold more possession than their opponent, but their offense has clearly not had the same effectiveness on the road.<\/p>\n

RB Leipzig vs Manchester City Expert Prediction<\/h2>\n

If Leipzig are going to pull off the impossible and beat City over two legs, they must take advantage at home and their best chance will be a slow, careful approach as they can\u2019t afford to get into a foot race with City.<\/p>\n

Leipzig used this same approach vs Bayern last month in a 1-1 home draw and I could see them earning a similar result here.<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m taking a side, I would grab the + goal head start as I just don\u2019t see value on City, but I wouldn\u2019t be surprised to see City pull off a 1-0 or 2-0 win. What I am more certain of is that there won\u2019t be many quality chances either way in this match.<\/p>\n
