Eintracht Frankfurt vs Napoli Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

Interesting matchup here between last season\u2019s Europa League champions and perhaps the best team in Europe this season at least when looking strictly at domestic league results.<\/p>\n

The quick eye test makes you what to jump on Napoli getting a + number to win the match, but Frankfurt has proven to be a tough team to beat at home and certainly makes me pause.<\/p>\n

Frankfurt has four losses at home in 15 matches in all competitions this season but have been better of late with just one loss in their last ten.<\/p>\n

In the group stage, Frankfurt lost their first home match 0-3 vs Sporting, but followed that up with two very good results, drawing 0-0 vs Tottenham and beating Marseille 2-1 who have looked great over in Ligue 1 with a chance to possibly dethrone PSG.<\/p>\n

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Napoli Advanced Data<\/h3>\n

In Bundesliga play, they own a +0.83 xG differential at home and aside from their 1-6 blowout loss at the hands of Bayern in their home-opener, they have been very good. Even in their 1-2 loss vs Dortmund, xG showed a 1.71 \u2013 0.73 advantage to Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

They also absolutely dominated two other Champions League sides, RB Leipzig and Leverkusen by a combined scoreline of 9-1 with xG showing 7.99 \u2013 0.72. Clearly, they can get a result at home.<\/p>\n

Unless you have been sleeping under a rock, you are probably aware how good Napoli has been this season, and on the road they have been superb.<\/p>\n

Just two losses away in all competitions this year which came at Liverpool in the group stage and at Inter Milan in their first match back from the WC break. It is worth noting that both of those matches finished Under 2.5 goals.<\/p>\n

How Eintracht Frankfurt Can Slow Down Napoli<\/h3>\n

Their attack has been fantastic as they have scored 56 goals in 23 matches led by Victor Osimhen who has now tallied 100 goals in his career, faster than both Ronaldo and Messi.<\/p>\n

However, Inter and Liverpool laid out the blueprint for how to slow down Napoli and that is to simply take the air out of the match as both only played with two forwards while keeping eight men behind the ball as much as possible limiting them to nine and ten shots.<\/p>\n

Frankfurt like to setup in a 3-4-2-1 with Kolo Muani up front which could work vs Napoli, especially if they drop their two wingers a little deeper.<\/p>\n

Frankfurt have been able to keep three straight league clean sheets at home, granted it\u2019s been against the bottom of the table teams, it should still provide confidence that they can do the same vs Napoli.<\/p>\n

Frankfurt absolutely needs a result at home vs Napoli and their best chance to get that is to slow the pace down.<\/p>\n

Napoli have been great on the road but even better at home and if Frankfurt fall behind after leg 1, you can all but scratch Napoli\u2019s name into the quarterfinal. Expect this to play out cautiously.<\/p>\n
