Monchengladbach vs Bayern Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

I feel like I\u2019ve had a solid read on Bayern this season and previewed their Champions League matchup at PSG suggesting Bayern was the side to play.<\/p>\n

That ended up being a good suggestion as they won 1-0 but it wasn\u2019t easy and if not for a couple of offside calls, Mbappe easily could have had the equalizer, if not winner. I bring up that result as I think this matchup sets up as a possible letdown spot for Bayern.<\/p>\n

They could certainly still win this, and I honestly wouldn\u2019t be surprised if they win by multiple goals, but I think the chances are good that Monchengladbach can keep this close and possibly even grab a result. Bayern left a lot on the field in that 1-0 win over PSG which will be tough to follow up.<\/p>\n

If we just look at Bundesliga numbers this should be a straightforward Bayern win. They lead the league in basically everything, and depending which site you use for xG data, are neck and neck with Union Berlin xGA, but everything else they lead the league by a wide margin.<\/p>\n

You can look at the numbers below to see how much better they are than Monchengladbach. But it\u2019s worth noting, although their road numbers are still better than Monchengladbach’s home numbers, it\u2019s not by a significant amount which is another reason I like grabbing the +1.5 head start on the home side.<\/p>\n
