Sassuolo vs Napoli Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

Napoli hold an almost insurmountable lead atop the Serie A table this year in what has been an incredible season for the \u2018Partenopei\u2019, winning 19 of their 22 games outright after what many considered to be a down season for the Neapolitans considering they let go of players such as Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne, and Kalidou Koulibaly in the off-season.<\/p>\n

However, Napoli have barely missed a beat, with their forward two of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in particular being especially lethal, bagging 26 of Napoli\u2019s 54 goals this season along with Napoli owning the league\u2019s best defensive record this year as well.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo meanwhile have mostly been at the other end of the spectrum this year, continuing to drop off the pace in Serie A after three of their brightest stars Gianluca Scamacca, Jeremie Boga, and Giacomo Raspadori have all plied their trade with different clubs this season.<\/p>\n

Napoli have blown out Sassuolo across both of their two most recent meetings, winning 4-0 in Napoli back in October and 6-1 in their previous meeting also.<\/p>\n

Napoli Strong Right Across The Board<\/h3>\n

A major strength for Napoli this season has been in their bench production, with 12 of their 54 goals this year coming from substitute players, one of the highest contribution rates in the entire league this season.<\/p>\n

That team ethos has led Napoli to have their most successful season ever up to this point of the season, with only Inter and Juventus ranking a single point ahead of them historically in their respective best-ever seasons at this same stage.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo Have Reasons To Be Optimistic<\/h3>\n

The \u2018Neroverdi\u2019 are going through arguably their best stretch of the season so far, going unbeaten across their last four league games overall and potentially welcoming back influential captain Domenico Berardi ahead of this game also.<\/p>\n

However, a defense that has allowed 33 goals on the season so far and ranks 6th worst in the league in defensive xGA this year as well is going to have to find a way to get a lot sturdier if they\u2019re going to limit this ferocious Napoli attack on Friday.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo vs Napoli Prediction<\/h2>\n

This is a very difficult game to call from a side perspective as while Napoli are undoubtedly the stronger of these two sides overall.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo have improved massively over recent weeks and Tuesday\u2019s looming clash against Eintracht Frankfurt over in the Champions League should draw Napoli’s attention here as well.<\/p>\n

That said, given Sassuolo\u2019s suspect defense this season, it\u2019s hard not to envision Napoli getting on the scoreboard perhaps a few times in this one, but with their upcoming European schedule combined with Sassuolo scoring in seven of their previous eight home matches also.<\/p>\n

Both teams should be able to find the back of the net in this one and we like the \u2018Both Teams to Score – Yes\u2019 prop at -140 in Friday’s matchup between Napoli and Sassuolo in Italian Serie A.<\/p>\n
