These teams faced each other last week, at Oklahoma City. Both came in well-rested. Behind a 38-point effort, including eight 3-pointers, from Stef Curry, the Warriors finished on top of a high-scoring 128-120 affair.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While they’ll have home court advantage for this evening’s rematch, the Warriors won’t be able to rely on Curry. Their superstar had an MRI on his knee yesterday and is expected to be out through the All-Star Break.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Can the champs win without Curry? Only time will tell. They were 6-5 when he went down to injury previously.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Draymond Green noted:\u00a0“He’s the heart of the team. We definitely don’t need him to be injured going into the second half. But he said he’s good.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oklahoma City star Shai-Gilgous Alexander had 31 points in last week’s game against the Warriors and he’s scored 30 or more in six of his past seven games. The Thunder remain without Luguentz Dort.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Warriors won at Oklahoma City last week. However, both these teams are typically much stronger at home than they are on the road.<\/p>\n

The Thunder 16-11 at home but 9-16 on the road. Note that they’re 16-9 against the spread in those 25 away games.<\/p>\n

The home\/road disparity is even greater for the defending champs. They’re 7-20 on the road but 20-6 at home. They’re 16-10 at the betting window in those games here at Chase Center.<\/p>\n

Both clubs have been profitable for \u2018over\u2019 bettors. The Thunder have seen the \u2018over\u2019 go 29-22-1. Even better, the \u2018over\u2019 is 31-19-3 (60%) when Golden State takes the floor.<\/p>\n

If The Playoffs Started Today<\/h3>\n

Both these teams really need to start winning. The Warriors currently sit in eighth in the West. If the season finished right now, they’d be the #8 seed in the West. Remember, the 7,8,9, and 10 seeds square off in the play-in tournament to determine the #7 and #8 spots.<\/p>\n

The Thunder should be even more desperate. They’re currently in 12th in the West. There aren’t that many games separating eight from 12 though.<\/p>\n

In fact, it’s pretty much a log-jam from fourth place all the way down to 13th. That makes tonight’s game of extreme importance to both teams.<\/p>\n

The Setup<\/h3>\n

Both teams had yesterday off. Both won on Saturday. The Warriors have tomorrow off. The Thunder face the Lakers tomorrow, at LA.<\/p>\n

Both teams are off a win last time out. The Thunder blew out the Rockets. Alexander led the way with 42 points. The Warriors squeaked past the Mavericks.<\/p>\n

Curry had 21 points before leaving with injury. Curry was the only one to reach the 20-point mark but six other Warriors scored in double-digits.<\/p>\n

Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder Player Prop<\/span> Prediction<\/span><\/h2>\n

I do have a play on this game<\/a>, which you can find on my page at WagerTalk. For this article, I’m going to focus on a free player proposition.<\/p>\n

The Warriors are going to need to replace Curry’s scoring. Jordan Poole figures to be the biggest and most obvious beneficiary.<\/p>\n

On the season, Poole averages 20.5 points in 30 minutes. However, when Curry missed those earlier 11 games, Poole averaged 27.9 points in 34.5 minutes, along with 4.1 assists and three rebounds.<\/p>\n

With an O\/U line in the mid-high 230’s, this game is expected to be fairly high-scoring. I’m pencilling Poole in for at least 25.<\/p>\n
