Dartmouth vs Brown Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

With the exception of free throw shooting (we’ll get there in a sec), Brown holds the advantage in almost every meaningful category over Dartmouth.<\/p>\n

The Bears beat the Big Green in early January and will be looking for the season sweep tonight as a small road favorite in Hanover, New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

Brown is expected to get 6-4 junior Dan Friday back into the mix this weekend. Friday has missed eight games this season but did play a nice role (nine points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes) in that win over Dartmouth earlier this season.<\/p>\n

Brown Playing Consistent Basketball<\/h3>\n

With the exception of a Week 1 loss at Loyola Maryland (currently No. 336 in KenPom), Brown’s season has stayed completely on script.<\/p>\n

All of their wins are over teams they should beat. All of their losses are against teams that are better than them. There are no peaks and valleys.<\/p>\n

The Bears have performed well in the Ivy League thus far, losing in overtime to Harvard and losing a three-point decision at Yale.<\/p>\n

Big Green Have Big Problems?<\/h3>\n

On the other side, Dartmouth’s schedule is filled with Jekyll and Hyde performances. The Big Green already has wins over Yale, Penn and Harvard in the Ivy, which is fantastic.<\/p>\n

They have also lost to Incarnate Word (No. 341 in KenPom), Central Connecticut (No. 332 in KenPom), and Boston University (3-8 in the Patriot League).<\/p>\n

Dartmouth vs Brown Expert Prediction<\/span><\/h2>\n

The glaring weakness on Brown’s resume is from the free throw line, where they are the worst team in the country at 59.6-percent.<\/p>\n

However, that number has climbed to 66-percent in conference play and they shot 19-of-26 (73-percent) in their last two games. One of the main culprits for that poor shooting, freshman Kalu Anya (50.9-percent) is going to miss this contest.<\/p>\n

When all is said-and-done, we’d prefer to side with the consistency of Brown to pick up the road win over a sometimes-hot, sometimes-cold team like Dartmouth.<\/p>\n
