Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Boston Bruins have hit their first rough patch of the season so far, notching up three consecutive losses for the first time all year as they head into Toronto on Wednesday night to take on the Maple Leafs in their final game before the All-Star Break.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s been the best defense in the league so far has been blasted open for eight goals over their last two starts, and the Bruins might need to watch that counter later tonight as well as the Leafs own the league’s 3rd highest offensive xG ratings this season.<\/p>\n

This will be the third of four meetings for these teams this season with both splitting their opening two games of the series with close one-goal wins at home respectively.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s been pretty consistent with recent form over the last couple of seasons as well, with Toronto winning four of their last five games against Boston up in Scotiabank Arena.<\/p>\n

Boston Feeling The Pace<\/h3>\n

The Boston Bruins have set an incredible pace this season that the rest of the league has struggled to keep up with, however, that pace now seems to finally have caught up to the Bruins, with some major fatigue setting into camp over their last few starts.<\/p>\n

What most definitely hasn\u2019t helped with that fatigue factor either is facing their 7th road game in their last eight starts as well, so Boston, probably more than most teams, will likely welcome the break after this one.<\/p>\n

Toronto Remains Firmly Focused<\/h3>\n

The Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe has been nothing but complimentary of the way the Bruins have handled themselves this season, calling them the most consistent team in the entire league.<\/p>\n

However, that won\u2019t stop one of the league\u2019s hottest offensive units from looking to overturn that 11-point gap at the top of the Atlantic Division and make catching the Bruins after the All-Star Break priority #1 for this team.<\/p>\n

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Bruins have looked shaky defensively of late and we could well see goals in this one in the final clash before the All-Star Break.<\/p>\n

Boston rank as the 3rd best offensive team in the league this season, putting up 3.70 goals per game on average, while Toronto aren\u2019t far behind at 3.39 gpg themselves.<\/p>\n

Toronto have the better stats however, ranking 3rd on total shots per game this year, along with ranking 3rd on offensive xG and ranking top ten in high-danger conversion percentage this season as well.<\/p>\n

So this should be another exciting matchup here on Wednesday, especially considering the Over has gone 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings between the two teams up in Toronto as well.<\/p>\n
