Real Betis vs Barcelona Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

League leaders Barcelona take on Real Betis over in Sevilla in midweek looking to extend their five-point lead at the top of the table with another victory here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Barcelona have lost just once all season in La Liga and have won three straight games off the back of an absolutely lights-out defense this year as well.<\/p>\n

However, they face a Real Betis team who are a top-six side themselves this season and who have won two of their last three league games outright also.<\/p>\n

This has been an extremely competitive series over the last few years, with Betis pushing Barcelona to penalties in the Spanish Super Cup just two weeks ago and the two teams splitting their last two LaLiga meetings as well.<\/p>\n

Lack Of Goals Could Be A Concern For Barcelona<\/h3>\n

Despite an absolutely electric defense this year, allowing just 0.33 goals per game on average to opponents, the best record out of any team in the top five European leagues, Barcelona\u2019s lack of goals at the other end could be a cause for concern.<\/p>\n

Four of Barcelona\u2019s last five league away wins have all come via 1-0 scorelines, and with a handicap opening line of -1 for this game, Barcelona backers may well need to think outside the box in terms of backing their team for this midweek clash.<\/p>\n

Inconsistent Form For Betis<\/h3>\n

While Real Betis sit just three points off a Champions League spot this season, Manuel Pellegrini\u2019s side have nevertheless been undone by some inconsistent league form this year, failing to put back-to-back league wins together since mid-September.<\/p>\n

However, at home \u2018Los Verdiblancos\u2019 remain strong, ranking joint 3rd in the league this season on defensive goals allowed from open play.<\/p>\n

Real Betis vs Barcelona Prediction<\/h2>\n

The data suggests Betis were the value side in this one when the line opened, but with the line now being chipped in from Barcelona -1 to Barcelona -0.75, that\u2019s simply not the case anymore.<\/p>\n

With that, we\u2019re going to look elsewhere in the markets for this one and two bets appeal in particular, most notably, Barcelona to win by exactly 1 goal on the winning margin prop at +210, and the 1st half-correct score 0-0 prop at +160 also.<\/p>\n

Barcelona and Real Betis rank 1st and 3rd respectively on first-half clean sheets this season, putting up 28 combined, so a 0-0 scoreline at the break looks like an extremely likely scoreline at the half based on those stats.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll go with the bigger price in this one however for our main selection on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
