Florida Panthers vs Los Angeles Kings Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Los Angeles Kings come to town in one of the marquee games of the night on Friday as they take on the Florida Panthers down in Sunrise.<\/p>\n

The Panthers come off back-to-back road losses against the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins respectively over recent games, but have won four of their last five at home, so will no doubt welcome a return to the FLA Live Arena on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Kings meanwhile are coming off consecutive wins over their recent road trip, but with those wins coming against the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers, they\u2019ll know they\u2019ll likely need to step it up a gear to come out with another victory on Friday.<\/p>\n

This will be the second and final meeting between the two teams this season after Los Angeles took Game One in a 5-4 shootout over the Panthers over on the west coast back in early November.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s been pretty much the norm for these two teams across recent meetings as well, with the Kings winning 20 of their last 27 matchups against the Panthers over recent years.<\/p>\n

Rebuilding Mode Going Well For Kings<\/h3>\n

Despite LA\u2019s supposed rebuilding phase over the 2022-23 campaign, the Kings nevertheless find themselves in a playoff spot heading into Friday\u2019s matchup against the Panthers, and have already beaten some excellent teams this season as well, including last year\u2019s champions the Colorado Avalanche as well as this season\u2019s #1 team the Boston Bruins also.<\/p>\n

A lot of that success for the Kings this year has come on the defensive end, with Los Angeles ranking top five in opponent shots allowed this season, along with top ten on high-danger chances allowed also.<\/p>\n

Panthers Heating Up In January<\/h3>\n

While it\u2019s taken them a while to get going this season, the Panthers have finally started to hit gear in 2023, converting over 40% of all of their power play opportunities since January 1st, the #1 mark in the league over that stretch.<\/p>\n

That follows on from an offense that ranks 2nd in the league this season on offensive xG, but has suffered through a sub-10% conversion percentage this year, something that may be starting to change for the Panthers as we head into the back half of the season.<\/p>\n

Florida Panthers vs Los Angeles Kings Prediction<\/h2>\n

Despite back-to-back losses over recent games, the Florida Panthers return home on Friday on a positive 7-3-2 run overall, and we like them to extend that run here with another victory on home ice against the Los Angeles Kings.<\/p>\n

This Kings offense has really struggled to get going this season, posting a sub-10% shot conversion percentage like Florida, but not getting into the same types of dangerous positions as them, ranking 24th in the league overall in high-danger creation rate this year, with Florida ranking #1 in that same category.<\/p>\n

Florida should have too much for Los Angeles in this one, especially at home, and we like the Panthers to get the outright win on Friday against the Kings<\/p>\n
