Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The New York Knicks are shipping off to Boston for an Eastern Conference clash with the Celtics on Thursday night from TD Garden. The Celtics lost their second straight game 98-95 on the road against the Miami Heat.<\/p>\n

The Knicks snapped a four game losing streak with a 105-103 home victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. This will be the second of four games in a regular season series Boston leads 1-0 after beating New York 133-118 on November 5th.<\/p>\n

Tip-off is scheduled for a 7:30 PM EST\/4:30 PST as the first game of a TNT Thursday night doubleheader. Mitchell Robinson remains out after thumb surgery and Evan Fournier is listed as questionable with a personal matter.<\/p>\n

Celtics Need To Get Healthy<\/h3>\n

The Boston Celtics fell to 35-14 on the season after losing their second straight game in Miami on Tuesday. The turnover differential was 17-8 in favor of Miami, they also had a 51-44 rebounding advantage in the game.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 31 points along with 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Derrick White added 23 points and 6 assists while Robert Williams III chipped in with 11 points and 8 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon all missed the game with various injuries. Boston still has the NBAs best record despite losing the past two games. The Celts rank 4th in scoring with 117.6 points a game on 47.4% from the field.<\/p>\n

They are also the 4th rated defense in the league while ranking 8th in defensive scoring with only 112 points allowed per game. Marcus Smart is the only player listed on the current injury report, he hopes to return in two weeks after nursing an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

Knicks Snap Four Game Skid<\/h3>\n

The New York Knicks put the brakes on a four game losing and upped their record to 26-23 on the season after edging out Cleveland on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Long range shooting was the difference in the game as New York went 17-33 for 51.5% while the Cavs went 12-33 for 36.4%.<\/p>\n

Julius Randle led all scorers and rebounders with 36 points and 13 boards. RJ Barrett added 16 points and Jalen Brunson chipped in with 14. The Knicks occupy the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference and would have the top spot in the play-in tournament if the season ended today.<\/p>\n

New York is middle of the pack in scoring with 114.1 points on 45.7% from the field. They sit at 15th in defensive rating and 10th in defensive scoring with 112.1 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

The Boston Celtics are 8.5 point home favorites with a total set at 221. The Celtics are looking for a bounce back after two straight losses while New York just snapped a four game slide.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatum has been stuffing the stat sheet in all three categories but his assist production has increased with Marcus Smart on the shelf. Tatum has also been a beast on the boards and his combo line of Rebounds + Assists is set at 13.5.<\/p>\n

Tatum has cleared this line in 7 of his last 8 games while landing on 13 in the game he fell short. Let’s back Tatum to keep contributing rebounds and assists on what’s seems like an awfully low line.<\/p>\n
