Tampa Bay Lightning vs Boston Bruins Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

Two of the best teams in hockey face off against one another later tonight as the league-leading Boston Bruins come to town to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning over in the Amalie Arena in Florida on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Bruins have continued to get it done on the ice this season after a blistering first half to their 2022-23 campaign, and have now won six straight games after a come-from-behind victory against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Tampa Bay Lightning meanwhile bounced back with a win themselves on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild after a mini-two-game losing streak over the weekend against the Oilers and Flames respectively, but at home this year the Lightning have been absolutely lights out, posting an 18-4-1 record down in Florida.<\/p>\n

These two teams have faced each other twice already this season, with Boston winning both meetings, home and away, by a combined 8-4 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Bruins Continue Assault on NHL<\/h3>\n

The Boston Bruins continue to rank as the #1 team in the entire league this season both offensively and defensively, as they continue to make a mockery of their +2500 pre-season Stanley Cup odds.<\/p>\n

The defense for the Bruins especially has been spectacular this season, allowing just 2.02 GAPG to opponents this year, 0.53 goals per game less than even the 2nd placed Dallas Stars have managed, and on top of that the Bruins boast an opponent shot conversion percentage of just 7.02%, by far the lowest number in the league this year.<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay Heating Up On Offense<\/h3>\n

Tampa Bay\u2019s offense is really starting to heat up this season, especially at home, where they\u2019ve averaged a colossal 5.0 goals per game across their last four home starts.<\/p>\n

The Lightning as a result rank joint 4th in the league on scoring offense this season, putting up 3.61 goals per game on average, and own the league\u2019s 3rd best offensive power play numbers this year as well.<\/p>\n

This is an incredibly close game to call on Thursday night, but the Bruins look like a team who just don\u2019t know how to lose right now, and we\u2019ll take them to edge out a close encounter on the road down in Florida on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Boston have not only won each of their previous two meetings against Tampa Bay this season, but also each of their last five going back to last season as well, and are 5-2 in their last seven head-to-head meetings in Tampa Bay over recent seasons also.<\/p>\n
