Los Angeles Lakers vs Los Angeles Clippers Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Battle of Los Angeles resumes as the Lakers play the role of host against the Clippers on Tuesday evening. The Clippers wrap up a four game road trip after winning their second straight game 112-98 in Dallas against the Mavericks.<\/p>\n

The Lakers won their second straight game 121-112 on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers. This will be the third of four games in a regular season series that the Clippers currently lead 2-0. Tip-off is slated for 10:00 PM EST\/7:00 PST as the nightcap of a TNT doubleheader.<\/p>\n

The Claw Leads The Clippers<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Clippers now sit one game above .500 at 25-24 after prevailing in Dallas on Sunday. The Clippers were otherworldly from the free throw line while, going 30-31 for 96.8% compared to Dallas going only 15-26 for 57.7%.<\/p>\n

Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 30 points along with nine rebounds and three assists. Paul George added 21 points, six rebounds and four assists. The Clippers currently occupy the 6th seed in the Western Conference, nine games behind the first place Denver Nuggets.<\/p>\n

Defense is the Clips calling card as they rank 10th in defensive rating and 4th in defensive scoring with 110.5 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

However they rank second to last in scoring with only 109.7 points per game on 46.5% from the floor. John Wall (abdominal strain) and Luke Kennard (calf) have both already been ruled out for this contest.<\/p>\n

Lakers Look For Third Straight Victory<\/h3>\n

The Los Angeles Lakers upped their record to 22-25 on the season after completing a comeback against the Blazers on Sunday. Los Angeles dominated the interior with a 51-38 rebounding advantage while outscoring Portland 62-38 in the paint.<\/p>\n

LeBron James led all scorers with 37 points along with 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Thomas Bryant recorded a tremendous 31 point, 14 rebound double-double while Dennis Schroder added 24 points and 8 assists. The Lakers currently occupy the 12th spot in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n

They are the NBAs 6th best scoring scoring team with an average of 117.1 points per game on 48.5% from the floor. Defense has been an issue as they rank 20th in defensive rating and 26th in scoring with 118 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Newly acquired Rui Hachimura won’t be available tonight while Lebron James is questionable with ankle soreness. Lonnie Walker IV and Austin Reeves have both been ruled out for this contest.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Clippers are 5 point road favorites with a total set at 230. The Battle of Los Angeles between two teams trying to find their footing in the Western Conference. I’m going with a simple two leg same game parlay for this one.<\/p>\n

Starting with LeBron James to record over 7.5 rebounds, he has 8+ rebounds in 9 of his last 10 games as he only fell short with 7 against the Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n

James has an average of 9.4 boards per game and had 8 & 10 rebounds in his two matchups with the Clippers this season. The other leg is Russell Westbrook over 4.5 assists, he has eclipsed this total in 9 of his last 10 games.<\/p>\n

He has recorded 9 and 4 assists in his two games against the other LA team. The Clippers allow the 8th most assists to opposing point guards. Kendrick Nunn has been traded to Washington, thinning the guard position for the Lakers.<\/p>\n

A close game is projected with a high total of 230 for a game involving the Clippers so there will be plenty of rebound & assist opportunities.<\/p>\n
