Philadelphia Flyers vs Los Angeles Kings Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Los Angeles Kings snapped a three-game losing streak on Sunday with a somewhat unconvincing 2-1 win over the struggling Chicago Blackhawks, and they\u2019ll hope to make it back-to-back wins here on Tuesday as they take on a Philadelphia Flyers team that have pretty much alternated wins and losses over the last ten days or so as they look for more consistency over the back half of the season.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia won Game One of this series back at the end of last month with a 4-2 victory on the road in LA. However, the Kings hold the advantage here in Philly, winning seven of their last ten meetings in this venue against the Flyers.<\/p>\n

Kings Fall Short Offensively<\/h3>\n

Despite ranking top five in the league on both number of power plays amassed and offensive xG this season, the Kings aren\u2019t near the top of the scoring charts, mainly due to a sub-par conversion percentage this year.<\/p>\n

The Kings have converted just 9.74% of their scoring chances this season, which ranks bottom half in the league overall, and something they’ll no doubt look to improve upon moving forward.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Playing A Dangerous Game<\/h3>\n

While the Flyers 3.21 GAPG isn\u2019t the worst mark in the league, their underlying stats this season paint a far more pessimistic picture, with the Flyers ranking 27th on total scoring chances allowed and 29th on high-danger scoring chances allowed this season.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia, however, have been helped out by some solid goaltending in nets from Carter Hart in particular, who ranks joint-13th this season on number of quality starts in the league.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Flyers vs Los Angeles Kings Prediction<\/h2>\n

Our numbers definitely lean Kings tonight but at the current line of -140, that lean has already been factored into the line.<\/p>\n

Because of that, we\u2019ll pivot across to the total here and take a small look towards taking the over in this one instead, with LA being better offensively, and Philadelphia not as good defensively, as their numbers might suggest this season, in a game that could well tip over the total of 6 here on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
