Manchester United: Recent Matches<\/h3>\n

United dropped points for the first time since the World Cup break drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace, but that was always going to be a tough spot for them.<\/p>\n

They were coming off a huge win over Manchester City last weekend and of course have this matchup with the Gunners this weekend, so having Palace sandwiched in between and on the road was not going to be straight forward.<\/p>\n

Still, they played well, and it wasn\u2019t until the 90+1\u2019 minute that Palace were able to score the equalizer. Prior to that game, United had won all seven matches since the break including four EPL games and three Cup matches.<\/p>\n

Frankly though, they should have won those first six as their opponents were all either lower division teams or bottom of the table Premier League sides.<\/p>\n

Arsenal Playing Exceptionally<\/h3>\n

Arsenal has been great all season and continue to play well even with the absence of Gabriel Jesus. Their schedule has been tougher coming out of the break having played Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton, and West Ham which they navigated with three wins and just one draw, plus an additional Cup win.<\/p>\n

The challenge for United here will be earning points at Emirates Stadium as the Gunners have seven wins and just one draw which came in their last match vs a very good Newcastle side that ended 0-0, but United can learn something from that match and it\u2019s a big reason why I like the Under in this game.<\/p>\n

Both teams obviously have the firepower to score against inferior opponents, but I think they will do a good job at neutralizing one another\u2019s attack. Arsenal rank #2 in the league allowing just 0.93 xGA which drops to 0.80 at home while United come in at #4 allowing 1.09 xGA.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have allowed just three goals in five games since the break and are off back-to-back league clean sheets while United allowed three goals in their eight matches and never more than one goal in any game.<\/p>\n

Arsenal vs Manchester United Prediction<\/h2>\n

Remember, United handed Arsenal their only EPL loss this season winning 3-1 back in September which came right after the Ronaldo benching.<\/p>\n

So, the revenge angle is with Arsenal here, but I\u2019ll skip the side and ride with the Under which bucks the more recent trend as their last three meetings all finished Over the total. However, they played to five straight unders prior to that.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals Scored +110<\/strong><\/p>\n
