Longtime NFC East foes the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles face off on Saturday evening in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. The Giants hung on for a 31-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Wild Card weekend.<\/p>\n

The Eagles clinched the #1 seed in the NFC with a 14-3 record. Philadelphia swept the regular season series against New York, winning 48-22 in Week 14 and 22-16 in Week 18. Kickoff is slated for 8:15 PM EST\/5:15 PST from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

Eagles Look For Season Sweep<\/h3>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2022-23 campaign with a 14-3 record with two critical victories over the New York Giants. Their only loss with quarterback Jalen Hurts on the field was Week 10 against the Washington Commanders.<\/p>\n

Hurts missed their Week 16 & 17 losses against the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints but returned for the Week 18 win over the Giants.<\/p>\n

The Eagles offense ranked 3rd in both scoring and yards with 28.4 points and 389.1 yards respectively. Hurts threw for 3,701 yards with 22 touchdowns and 6 interceptions while rushing for 760 yards and 13 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Miles Sanders paced the teams rushing attack with 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns. AJ Brown led the team in receiving with 88 receptions for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Their defense was just as good, as they finished 2nd in yards per game (301.5) and 8th in points per game (20.2). TJ Edwards paced the defense in tackles with 159 while Brandon Graham & Javon Hargrave led the team in sacks with 11 each.<\/p>\n

The New York Giants improved to 9-7-1 on the season with their road victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Wild Card weekend. Daniel Jones became the first player in history to throw for 300+ yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 70+ yards in a playoff game.<\/p>\n

Jones finished the season with 3,205 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 5 interceptions while rushing for 708 yards and 7 touchdowns. New York ranked middle of the pack on offense where they ranked 15th in scoring with 20.5 and 14th in yards with 333.9 per game.<\/p>\n

Saquon Barkley was the lead back with 1,312 rushing yards, 338 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Darius Slayton was the Giants leading receiver with 46 grabs for 724 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n

The New York defense ranks 18th in scoring with 21.8 and 25th in yards allowed with 358.2 per game. Safety Julian Love led the Giants in tackles with 124 while defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence was the leading sack man with 7.5.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles are favored by 7.5 points with a total of 48. They say it’s very difficult to beat an NFL team three times in one season, but that’s what the Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to do against their NFC rivals the New York Giants on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Eagles have the rest advantage and they smoked the Giants 48-22 with a healthy Hurts in Week 14. Philadelphia has won the last nine meetings between these teams at Lincoln Financial Field, winning by an average of 10.2 points per game.<\/p>\n
