Crystal Palace and Manchester Recent Matches<\/h2>\n

The train keeps a rollin\u2019 for this Manchester United side after beating City 2-1 in the Manchester Derby over the weekend. Ten Haag was already the fastest United manager to reach 20 wins before that game and there just appears to be nothing that is going to get in their way.<\/p>\n

I faded Palace on Saturday vs Chelsea mostly because Palace had lost 11 straight matches to Chelsea, but against United, they have the recent edge winning three of the last six meetings with one draw and two United wins.<\/p>\n

However, we all know that over the last couple seasons, United was a shell of the team they appear to be now with manager changes, Ronaldo drama and ownership issues.<\/p>\n

United has also been a cash cow this season vs the betting market. They are 13-5 ATS this year including 6-3 away while Palace have been just about dead even at 9-8-1. However, it is worth noting that as home dogs this season, Palace are 0-3 ATS.<\/p>\n

As far as handicapping this match, there is no way I\u2019m getting in front of the United train at this point, however, I am a little cautious as midweek games often can have surprising results.<\/p>\n

This match is also sandwiched between City this past weekend and Arsenal this upcoming weekend. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised to see a lapse of focus here from United.<\/p>\n

Personally, I\u2019m going to lay off the side and total and instead focus on the Corners market. Surprisingly, United does not generate many corners, just 4.3 per match which ranks #16 in the league and on the road, that number drops to 3.3 which is the 2nd fewest.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Palace does a good job at limiting corners, just 4.8 per match which ranks #8 in the league and that number drops to 3.9 at home.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Prediction<\/h2>\n

Any other day or situation, I\u2019m backing United, but in this spot, midweek between two huge matches, not something I want to deal with.<\/p>\n

Instead I\u2019ll go small on the season trends suggesting United under 5.5 Corners is worth a shot. Take Manchester United under 5.5 corners.<\/p>\n
