Washington Wizards vs Chicago Bulls Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Chicago Bulls travel to the nation’s capital for an Eastern Conference tilt with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. The Wizards lost their third straight game 132-112 at home against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The Bulls watched a three game winning streak fall by the wayside in a 107-99 loss in Boston against the Celtics. This is the third of four meetings between these teams who have split the first two games with both teams winning at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST\/4:00 PST from the Capital One Arena.<\/p>\n

Wounded Wizards On Three Game Skid<\/h3>\n

The Washington Wizards record dipped to 17-24 on the season as they lost their third straight game by 20 points at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.<\/p>\n

The Pelicans had a tremendous advantage down low where they outscored Washington 74-46 in the paint while out-rebounding them 44-37. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 23 points and 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Kyle Kuzma added 19 points and 8 rebounds while Corey Kispert chipped in with 17 points. The Wizards have struggled to points on the board as they rank 21st in scoring with only 112.1 points a game on 48.2% from the field.<\/p>\n

They sit at 17th in defensive rating and 15th in defensive scoring with 113.5 points allowed per game. Kristaps Porzingis, Corey Kispert and Daniel Gafford are all questionable for this game while Bradley Beal and Johnny Davis have already been ruled out.<\/p>\n

DeRozan Down Bulls Lose<\/h3>\n

The Chicago Bulls record dropped to 19-22 on the season after losing in Boston on Monday night. DeMar DeRozan left the game late in the 3rd quarter with a quad injury.<\/p>\n

The Celtics had a tremendous edge from the free-throw line where they went 20-21 for 95.2% while Chicago went only 9-14 for 64.3%. Zach Lavine led the team with 27 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.<\/p>\n

Nikola Vucevic recorded a 21 point, 13 rebound double-double while DeRozan added 13 points before his exit. The Bulls rank slightly above average in scoring at 13th with 114.7 points a game on 48.9% from the field.<\/p>\n

Defense has been a struggle for Chicago as they sit at 20th in defensive rating and 19th in defensive scoring with 115.3 points allowed per game. Alex Caruso joins DeRozan on the list of questionable players for Chicago as Javonte Green and Tony Bradley have both already been ruled out.<\/p>\n

Washington Wizards vs Chicago Bulls Player Prop Prediction<\/h2>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Washington Wizards being favored by only 1.5 points and a total of 228.5. These teams are very similar in talent which is reflected in their nearly identical records.<\/p>\n

They have split the first two games with each team winning at home, the Wiz won 102-100 while Chicago won 115-111. Both sides will also most likely be missing some key players tonight. I’m looking towards the Bulls as DeRozan is now doubtful to play, in particular Zach Lavine.<\/p>\n

After the Brooklyn Nets game, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said “I have encouraged Lavine to attempt 10-15 threes a game because he is so elite” Donovan views Lavine as their best bet to up a league low number of attempts as a team.<\/p>\n

In three games since then, Lavine went 4-13, 6-12 and 11-13 from beyond the arc. Those were in games where DeRozan was active. The Wizards rank 24th in three-point percentage allowed at 36.4%.<\/p>\n

Lavine shot 5-9 from long distance against Washington on December 7th. The lines just came out and we get a sweet +140 price on Draftkings.<\/p>\n
