Boston Celtics vs New Orleans Pelicans Betting Analysis<\/h2>\n

The New Orleans Pelicans visit the TD Garden for an interconference clash with the Celtics on Wednesday night. The Celtics won their third straight game 107-99 at home against the Chicago Bulls.<\/p>\n

The Pelicans steamrolled the Wizards 132-112 in Washington on Monday night. This is the second and final meeting between these teams as Boston prevailed 117-109 on November 18th in New Orleans. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST\/4:30 PST.<\/p>\n

Celtics Heating Up Again<\/h3>\n

The Boston Celtics upped their record to 29-12 after winning their third straight game at home against the Bulls. DeMar DeRozan left the game with a quad injury which slowed down the Bulls offensive attack.<\/p>\n

The Celts had a tremendous advantage from the charity stripe as they shot 20-21 95.2% while Chicago only went 9-14 64.3%. Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 32 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.<\/p>\n

The Celtics have the leagues #1 scoring offense with an average of 118.5 points a game on 47.8% from the field.<\/p>\n

The Celtics defense is sitting at 7th in defensive rating and 13th in scoring with 112.6 points allowed per game. Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III are both listed as questionable with knee injury management.<\/p>\n

Pelicans Continue Road Trip Without Williamson<\/h3>\n

The New Orleans improved to 25-16 after crushing the Wizards in Washington on Monday and are now 2-2 since the Zion Williamson injury. They controlled the interior where they out-rebounded the Wiz 44-37 and outscored them 74-46 from the paint.<\/p>\n

CJ McCollum led all scorers with 34 points on 12-21 from the floor. Jonas Valanciunas recorded a 27 point, 12 rebound double-double while Naji Marshall chipped in with 18 points.<\/p>\n

The Pels offense is top five as they sit at 4th with an average of 117.4 points a game on 47.9% shooting. They also rank 5th in defensive rating and 14th in scoring with 113 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram have both already been ruled out for this contest while Herbert Jones is listed as doubtful.<\/p>\n

Boston Celtics vs New Orleans Pelicans Same Game Parlay Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Boston Celtics are heavy home favorites with a spread of 9.5 and s total of 231. Both of these teams are contenders who could meet in the NBA Finals if the chips fell right.<\/p>\n

The Pelicans have held onto a solid record despite missing their two top players for significant time. I’m looking at going right back to a same game parlay on Tatum & Brown to both score 25+ points after falling short two nights ago.<\/p>\n

They have scored 25+ points in the same game in 7 of their last 9 games. Tatum has scored 25+ points in 33 of 39 games for 85% success rate while Brown has eclipsed that mark in 27 of 39 games for a 69% success rate.<\/p>\n

Brown has scored 27, 31 & 23 in his last three games against New Orleans while Tatum scored 19, 38 & 27. Herbert Jones is listed as doubtful, leaving the Pelicans without their best defender.<\/p>\n

Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III are both questionable. If they are out it will lead to more scoring opportunities for Tatum & Brown. Let’s run it back and cash this one!!<\/p>\n
