Sevilla vs Getafe Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Relegation-battling Sevilla look to continue to change their fortunes around this season over in Spanish LaLiga after suffering yet another winless game against Celta Vigo last week.<\/p>\n

The ‘Rojiblancos’ dominated proceedings for the most part in that game, putting up 17 attempts on goal compared with Vigo\u2019s 7, but some wasteful chances in front of nets and a paltry 0.59 xG rating cost them from gaining a much-needed three points in that one.<\/p>\n

They welcome in a team in Getafe on Sunday who have issues of their own this season, winning just two of their last nine games overall.<\/p>\n

However, the \u2018Azulones\u2019 have been more dependable away from home this year, losing just one of their last five road games in the league.<\/p>\n

Sevilla owns a fantastic head-to-head record against Getafe over recent seasons, winning seven straight games against the Madrid-based club, however, inside the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Getafe have actually managed to take points off Sevilla in two of their last five meetings here.<\/p>\n

Getafe Epitome Of Inconsistency This Year<\/h3>\n

Getafe have been the epitome of inconsistency in Spain this year, with each of their last five league results differing from their last, and failing to put together a run of three games with the same result across any competition since October.<\/p>\n

With their last result being a win, recent trends suggest it’s highly unlikely Getafe will take all three points in this one, and with the fact they\u2019ve failed to score more than a single goal across any of their last four league road starts as well, that probability rises even higher.<\/p>\n

Sevilla Enduring Worst League Start In Over 20 Years<\/h3>\n

In one of the worst seasons for the Sevilla faithful in recent memory, the home fans will no doubt be desperate to bank a home victory in the league for the first time all season.<\/p>\n

Elche remain the only other team in LaLiga yet to win a home game this season, and with this year ranking as Sevilla\u2019s worst campaign in the Spanish top flight since the 1999\/2000 season, that\u2019s a situation that needs to change extremely quickly if Sevilla are going to survive this season.<\/p>\n

Sevilla vs Getafe Prediction<\/h2>\n

For as poor as Sevilla have been this season, and they have been poor, sometimes it\u2019s very difficult to snap a winless streak when you\u2019re running cold, and that international break may have provided Jorge Sampaoli and Sevilla the time that they needed to turn things around this season.<\/p>\n

This will be Sevilla\u2019s first game back at home in the league since league football resumed, and fans will be expectant of a huge turnaround in fortunes for the club in what is an absolute crunch game for the Rojiblancos on Sunday in order to set the tone for the second half of the season.<\/p>\n

With their dominant head-to-head record over Getafe in recent seasons as well, we\u2019re backing the home side Sevilla to finally get a win at home in the league and bank all three points in this one on Sunday.<\/p>\n
