Fiorentina vs Sassuolo Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Italian Serie A kicked off on Wednesday night with a full slate of games and resumes in quick fashion here on Saturday with a really interesting clash between Sassuolo and Fiorentina in the early kick-off this weekend.<\/p>\n

Since the highs of a few seasons ago when Sassuolo were regularly finishing inside the top ten in the league, those days look long gone for Sassuolo this season as they saw the departure of key players such as Gianluca Scamacca, Francesco Caputo, and Jeremie Boga to rival clubs to witness a serious downturn in their fortunes.<\/p>\n

For Fiorentina however, it\u2019s been pretty much business as usual as they continue to be a solid mid-table side pretty much year on year, continuing to come up short in breaking into those European spots at the top of the table and currently sit in 10th spot in the league this season.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo haven\u2019t lost to Fiorentina since 2019, enjoying the lion\u2019s share of success against their Florentine rivals over the last few seasons.<\/p>\n

However, with each of the last two meetings in the Stadio Artemio Franchi finishing in outright draws, that tide may be starting to turn in \u2018I Viola\u2019s\u2019 favor in this series.<\/p>\n

Goals Have Deserted Sassuolo This Season<\/h3>\n

Once a team known for their goal-scoring prowess, that simply hasn’t been the case for the \u2018Neroverdi\u2019 this season as they’ve averaged the 5th fewest goals in the league this year at just 1.00 gpg on average.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Sassuolo, that lack of goals has been even worse on the road this season, with the team from Emilia-Romagna averaging a paltry 0.50 gpg away from home this season, the 2nd lowest mark in the entire league.<\/p>\n

Fiorentina Lacks Cutting Edge Up Front<\/h3>\n

You wouldn\u2019t know it behind an offense that has netted just 19 goals this season, along with two of their top goal scorers Luka Jovic and Giacomo Bonaventura netting just 6 goals between them as well, but Fiorentina have actually been very attack-minded this year, averaging the 3rd highest shot count in the league this season.<\/p>\n

Those efforts haven\u2019t been potshots either as Fiorentina ranks right behind Inter, AC Milan, and Napoli in total shots on target per game this season, but simply haven\u2019t had the cutting edge up front needed to finish those chances, with fans probably ruefully missing the days of having the great Gabriel Batistuta up front leading Fiorentina\u2019s offensive charge.<\/p>\n

Fiorentina vs Sassuolo Prediction<\/h2>\n

While Fiorentina have continued to struggle in games offensively this season, and came up short against Monza at home on Wednesday also, we nonetheless believe they possess enough quality in this one to bounceback with a win against Sassuolo on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Sassuolo have been really poor away from home this year, losing four straight games on the road, and allowed an 11th-placed Bologna side to blow them out 3-0 on their last road trip also.<\/p>\n

Take Fiorentina to grab the outright win this weekend against Sassuolo over in the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday in Italian Serie A.<\/p>\n
