Celta Vigo vs Sevilla Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

After the heroics of last season where the \u2018Sevillistas\u2019 were challenging for the title for the majority of the season.<\/p>\n

Sevilla now unbelievably find themselves down in the relegation zone this year in a scenario few would have envisioned, and need a huge turnaround over the back half of the season in order to change their fortunes and get themselves to safety.<\/p>\n

That responsibility falls to the new man at the helm Jorge Sampaoli after Julen Lopetegui parted ways with the club back in October, and the Argentinian manager faces a real test in his first game back after the international break.<\/p>\n

Only one point separates the two teams in the league right now, with Celta Vigo sitting just one place above Sevilla, and they’ll no doubt feel confident ahead of this one as it\u2019s a venue that hasn\u2019t always been kind to Sevilla, with Celta Vigo winning three of their last five head-to-heads at home against the Andalusian side.<\/p>\n

Road Trip Might Be Perfect Tonic For Sevilla<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been a night and day season for Sevilla this year in terms of home and away form, with the Sevillistas garnering just two points at home all year, the second-lowest return in the entire league.<\/p>\n

On the road they\u2019ve actually been fairly competent this season, ranking top half in the league overall with eight points banked from their seven road games.<\/p>\n

In fact, Sevilla\u2019s only loss over their last five road games came against Real Madrid, so they\u2019ll no doubt be confident of getting a result away from home in this one on Friday.<\/p>\n

Cohesiveness Among Squad At Celta Vigo<\/h3>\n

\u2018Los Celestes\u2019 appointed a new manager of their own earlier last month in Portuguese veteran Carlos Carvalhal, a manager who has enjoyed success in not only his native Portugal previously, but over in the English leagues also.<\/p>\n

Celta Vigo sent just one player to the recent World Cup over in Qatar, Ghanian international Joseph Aidoo, so they should have a cohesiveness advantage over Sevilla in this one who sent ten players to the World Cup, three of which were in the Argentinian trophy winning squad as well.<\/p>\n

It is somewhat of a surprise to see Celta Vigo being favored as heavily as they are here considering how decent Sevilla have been on the road this season.<\/p>\n

Given where both teams are in the league table right now, this is likely to be a tight, low-scoring affair on Friday night, and with so much on the line for both teams, a 1-1 correct score looks like the most appealing play in this one at +500.
