New Jersey Devils vs Boston Bruins Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Two of the East\u2019s top teams clash for the second time on Wednesday night as the Boston Bruins look to make it two from two on the road against the New Jersey Devils.<\/p>\n

The Devils actually took the lead in Friday\u2019s game against Boston and outshot the Bruins by an enormous 40-23 margin in that game as well, however, a huge second period by the Bruins in which they scored four goals was enough for them to get the victory.<\/p>\n

The two teams faced each other three times last season also with Boston winning each of the three meetings by a combined 18-6 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Boston Dominant In Series Meetings<\/h3>\n

Not only have the Boston Bruins continued to get it done against pretty much every team in the league this season, ranking as the #1 team overall, they\u2019ve especially enjoyed a ton of success against this New Jersey Devils team over the last few seasons also.<\/p>\n

The Bruins have won 35 of their last 52 head-to-head meetings against the Devils and have won 8 of their last 11 matchups against them in New Jersey also.<\/p>\n

New Jersey Desperate For A Turnaround In Fortunes<\/h3>\n

Despite a red-hot start to the 2022-23 campaign for the New Jersey Devils, the wheels look to have most definitely come off their season with seven losses from their last eight games overall.<\/p>\n

A large part of that decline has been on a defense that has allowed fewer than four goals to opponents in just one of those seven losses, and they\u2019ll need to tighten that up here against a Bruins team that ranks 2nd in the league in overall scoring this year.<\/p>\n

New Jersey Devils vs Boston Bruins Prediction<\/h2>\n

This is an extremely tough game to call from a side perspective, so we\u2019re going to swerve that and look at the total in this one instead.<\/p>\n

The Over has cashed in all of the previous five meetings between the two teams but we’re expecting a lower-scoring game here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Devils 9.59% shot conversion percentage this season, bottom half in the league overall, just can\u2019t match Boston\u2019s offensive output so they\u2019re going to have to find a way to shut the Bruins down here, something they managed quite effectively in two of Friday\u2019s three periods against them.<\/p>\n

Both teams rank #1 and #3 respectively on overall scoring defense this season so we\u2019ll trust the numbers in this one and take the Under 6 goals between the Bruins and Devils to cash on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
