Nashville Predators vs Dallas Stars Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Two teams in some pretty inconsistent form meet after the break on Tuesday night as the Dallas Stars travel over to Tennessee to take on the Nashville Predators.<\/p>\n

Dallas comes off a solid win against the Montreal Canadiens on Friday and will hope to put back-to-back wins together for the first time in two weeks when they clash against the Predators later tonight.<\/p>\n

Nashville meanwhile looked to have turned a corner after a mammoth six-game losing streak by winning back-to-back games against Edmonton and Chicago respectively over recent starts. That optimism was shortlived however as the Predators suffered a 3-2 OT loss against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.<\/p>\n

These two teams have faced each other twice already this season, with Dallas winning both matchups by pretty convincing margins, outscoring Nashville by 9-2 in those contests.<\/p>\n

Stars Getting It Done On The Offensive End<\/h3>\n

The Dallas Stars have been lighting it up this year offensively, ranking top five in the league in both scoring offense at 3.57 goals per game, and 3rd on high-danger creation rate also.<\/p>\n

A large instrument in that success has come from the play of LW Jason Robertson who has bagged 24 goals already for the Stars this season, the league\u2019s 3rd highest return overall.<\/p>\n

Nashville Misfiring In Front Of Goal<\/h3>\n

Unlike Dallas, it hasn\u2019t been such a great year in front of nets for the Nashville Predators this season, netting just 2.50 goals per game on average, the league\u2019s 3rd lowest return overall ahead of only Anaheim and Chicago.<\/p>\n

However, the Predators have been helped out a ton on the other end by a defense that is allowing a criminally low 7.1% conversion percentage to opponents inside the slot area this year, the league\u2019s 2nd lowest percentage.<\/p>\n

If that percentage starts to regress, however, Nashville may find it very difficult to keep up with opponents in games moving forward.<\/p>\n

Nashville Predators vs Dallas Stars Prediction<\/h2>\n

We\u2019re siding with the Dallas Stars in this one to get the outright road win against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Dallas ranks 5th on high-danger conversion percentage this season and they should really test this over-valued Predators defense tonight.<\/p>\n

Nashville’s defense barely ranks top half in the league this season in overall defensive xGA, and is getting by through that incredibly low opponent high-danger conversion percentage, a percentage that simply has to regress at some point (the league average is around 9.8%).<\/p>\n

Dallas will look to stress test that defense tonight and we like them to get the win here on Tuesday against Nashville.<\/p>\n
