Denver Nuggets vs Phoenix Suns Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns invade Ball Arena for a Western Conference clash with the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day. The Nuggets prevailed 105-91 against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and stay home for a showdown with the Portland Trailblazers on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Suns are coming off a 113-110 loss at home to the Washington Wizards and play the Memphis Grizzlies at home on Friday. This is the first of four games in a regular season series that Phoenix won 2-1 in the 2021-22 campaign. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:30 PM EST\/7:30 PST on Christmas night.<\/p>\n

Suns Set On Denver<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns record dipped to 19-13 on the season after losing to Wizards on Tuesday. Landry Shamet led all scorers with 31 points off the bench, while hitting 9-16 from three-point land.<\/p>\n

Deandre Ayton wasn’t far behind him with a 30 point, 13 rebound double-double. Chris Paul also had a double-double with 12 points and 11 assists. Washington had tremendous advantage getting to the free throw line, going 26-37 as Phoenix went 15-19.<\/p>\n

The Suns sit at 6th in scoring with 115.7 points a game on 47% from the field. Phoenix also ranks 7th in defensive scoring with 110.7 points allowed per game. Devin Booker and Cameron Payne have both been ruled out for Friday’s game against Memphis while Jock Landale and Josh Okogie are both questionable.<\/p>\n

Joker MVP Campaign<\/h3>\n

The Denver Nuggets currently sit at first place in the Western Conference with a 19-11 record after beating Memphis on Tuesday. Aaron Gordon led the Nuggs in scoring with 24 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.<\/p>\n

Nikola Jokic had yet another triple double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists. Denver had a tremendous advantage from long distance as they shot 10-27 for 37% while Memphis was only 5-26 for 19.2%. Denver ranks 17th in defensive scoring as they allow 114 points a game.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets rank 7th in scoring with 115.4 points per game on an extremely accurate 50.3% shooting percentage. Jamal Murray is listed as questionable with a knee injury as of Friday, while Jeff Green is probable with a back injury.<\/p>\n

The Denver Nuggets are favored by 2.5 points with a total of 231. The is a very interesting matchup between two teams that could end up going head-to-head in the Western Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

Both sides are top ten in scoring, Denver is below average defensively and the Suns have struggled recently. We have seen 6 of the last 8 Nuggets games go over this total, as well as 4 of the last 7 Suns games.<\/p>\n

It feels like the side is a coin flip depending on the health of Devin Booker. I’m not expecting a huge defensive efforts on Christmas night at high altitudes. Let’s go with the over in this one!!<\/p>\n
