Aberdeen vs Rangers Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Aberdeen will look to build on its impressive performance against league-leaders Celtic on Saturday with yet another positive display here against Scotland\u2019s other giants, Glasgow Rangers.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen enters this contest in third place in the table after last weekend\u2019s 1-0 defeat to Celtic. Callum McGregor earned the game-winning goal for Celtic in the 87th minute. Aberdeen absorbed 33 shot attempts from the Bhoys, but couldn’t hold off the league-leaders in the waning minutes.<\/p>\n

Rangers, meanwhile, struggled to a 3-2 victory over eighth-place Hibernian on Thursday, going down early to Hibs with two goals from Ryan Porteous and Kevin Nisbet, which put the visitors in front. Rangers responded, however, with a second half onslaught which saw them score multiple goals and take the win. Rangers enter this contest nine points behind Celtic at the top of the Premiership table.<\/p>\n

Rangers have only won two of the last four meetings against Aberdeen, with just one of those (October\u2019s 4-1 meeting in Ibrox) coming via multiple goals.<\/p>\n

Rangers Not Clinical Enough In Attack<\/h3>\n

Despite the best efforts of league joint top scorer Antonio Mirko Colak this season, Rangers just haven’t been anywhere near as clinical in attack as their cross-city rivals this year.<\/p>\n

The ‘Gers have actually notched up the league\u2019s highest shot count this season with a 19.9 shots per game average against Celtic\u2019s 19.6 tally. Yet, Celtic have been much more formidable in front of goals this season than Rangers, posting a far higher shots-on-target rating along with registering a massive 3.19 goals per game average against Rangers’ 2.31 mark.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen Continues To Be Strong At Home<\/h3>\n

Pittodrie Stadium continues to be something of a fortress for Aberdeen this season, with the Dons registering 2.50 points per game on average over their last six home starts in a run that had seen them win five-straight on the East coast before Saturday\u2019s close loss to Celtic.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen also boasts the league\u2019s third-highest goal differential at home this season, netting 22 goals and allowing just seven over their eight games there so far. Only the two heavyweights of Celtic and Rangers own better overall goal differentials this season.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen vs Rangers Prediction<\/h2>\n

Much like Saturday’s clash with Celtic, this is another game where we believe the home dog Aberdeen can play tough in.<\/p>\n

However, unlike Saturday\u2019s game against Celtic where Aberdeen closed as +1.5 home underdogs, the Dons are only catching a +1 handicap start in this one, so a combination of both Aberdeen\u2019s resilience and Rangers’ under-performance of late has seen this line dip to pretty much right around where it should be.<\/p>\n

Because of that, we like Rangers to win in this one in what should be another close, competitive game on Tuesday night and we\u2019re taking Rangers to win by exactly one goal<\/strong> on the winning margin prop at +275 here on Tuesday against Aberdeen over in the Scottish Premiership.
