Cleveland Cavaliers vs Utah Jazz Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Utah Jazz travel to Quicken Loans Arena for an interconference clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. The Cavs are coming off a 100-99 home victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Jazz were run out of the building 123-97 in Milwaukee against the Bucks. This is the first of two meetings between these teams that will meet again on January 10th in Utah. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:10 PM EST\/4:10 PST.<\/p>\n

Jazz Hope To Right The Ship<\/h3>\n

The Utah Jazz record dipped to 17-15 after losing by 26 points on Saturday in Milwaukee. Lauri Markkanen led the starters with 18 points while Mailk Beasley matched him with 18 points off the bench. The Jazz fell to the Bucks despite them playing without starters Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.<\/p>\n

Utah watched a two game winning streak fall by the wayside as they only managed to score 97 points. On the season, the Jazz rank 5th with an average of 117.2 points per game on 45.3% from the field.<\/p>\n

They have struggled defensively as they rank 23rd with 116 points allowed per game. Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Colin Sexton (hamstring) have both already been ruled out for this contest and are the only players listed on the report.<\/p>\n

Cavaliers Look For Fourth Straight Victory<\/h3>\n

The Cleveland Cavaliers improved to 20-11 on the season after winning their third straight game with a 100-99 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 25 points despite shooting only 1-9 from three-point land.<\/p>\n

Darius Garland recorded a 18 point 12 assist double-double while Evan Mobley added 17 points and 8 rebounds. It was Clevelands second win over Dallas in the span of three games. Cleveland is one of the best defensive teams in the league as they rank #1 in scoring with only 104.6 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Offensively they rank 24th with only 110.5 points per game on 49% from the floor. The only Cavs player listed on the injury report is Lamar Steven’s who has been ruled out with a knee injury.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 6.5 point home favorites over the Utah Jazz with a total of 220. This is a matchup between two teams heading in completely opposite directions as the Cavs have won three straight and the Jazz have lost 9 of their last 14 games.<\/p>\n

This is also Donovan Mitchell’s first game against his former team. Mitchell has a point total set at 28.5 tonight and he has cleared that in 4 of his last 7 games while landing on 23, 28 & 25 points in the others.<\/p>\n
