Aberdeen vs Celtic Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Celtic has lost just one game all year and enjoys a sizeable nine-point lead at the top of the table over nearest rivals Rangers, with Aberdeen sitting a further eight points behind them in third place.<\/p>\n

However, the ‘Dons’ have been strong at home this season, losing just once there all year, that coming via a 3-2 shootout loss against Motherwell all the way back in August. They have since gone on to shut out three of their last five opponents at home.<\/p>\n

Celtic has won both of the last two meetings against Aberdeen in Pittodrie Stadium, however, both of those games have been incredibly close, with Celtic scoring late in each one and coming out with slender one-goal wins as a result.<\/p>\n

Celtic Streets Ahead On Offense<\/h3>\n

Scoring a colossal 50 goals in the league already this season, Celtic is absolutely streets ahead of every other team in the league on offense this year. Manager Ange Postecoglou is getting his team playing with the sole intention of overwhelming opponents, a strategy that has continued to pay dividends for Celtic.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Bhoys\u2019 unsurprisingly own the league\u2019s best offensive xG rating this season as a result, and have been especially dangerous on the road this year where they\u2019re averaging a massive 2.45 xG per game, with the league’s second-best side in that category, Hibernian, \u2018only\u2019 managing 1.97 xG.<\/p>\n

Miovski Remains A Massive Goal Threat<\/h3>\n

The Scottish Premiership\u2019s joint top scorer this season, Bojan Miovski, has continued to be a huge problem for Aberdeen\u2019s opponents this season, scoring 11 goals so far for them over this campaign and registering a huge 38-percent contribution rate for Aberdeen also, highlighting just how important he has been to the ‘Dons’ success this year.<\/p>\n

However, that success has brought in admirers also, most notably French Ligue 1 side Reims, who look set for a big January transfer window bid for the North Macedonian target man early next month.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen vs Celtic Prediction<\/h2>\n

While Celtic has been involved in some friendlies over the last few weeks, they (like Aberdeen) haven\u2019t played a meaningful league game in well over a month now, and unlike Aberdeen, have seen some of their brightest talent go off to play in the World Cup in Qatar over the last month.<\/p>\n

Celtic has players in the national squads of the USA, Australia, Croatia and Japan, and could be a little rusty in their first league game back, especially with so many first-team players being away from the squad over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n

Even without that fact, Aberdeen has shown a real tenacity when playing in Pittodrie Stadium, one that they\u2019re not so easily rolled over, and have played Celtic tough in both of their recent head-to-heads in this venue. We expect yet another close encounter here on Saturday also.<\/p>\n
