Portland Trail Blazers vs Denver Nuggets Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Portland Trail Blazers will host the Denver Nuggets for a Western Conference showdown from the Moda Center on Thursday evening. The Nuggets got edged out 116-115 on Tuesday night at home against the Dallas Mavericks.<\/p>\n

The Trail Blazers haven’t been in action since Sunday when won 116-100 at home against the Indiana Pacers. This is the second of four head-to-head meetings between these teams, Portland prevailed 135-110 at home on October 24th. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST\/7:00 PST on NBATV.<\/p>\n

Blazing A Path<\/h3>\n

The Portland Trail Blazers improved to 13-11 on the season after winning their second straight game 116-100 to the Indiana Pacers. Jerami Grant led all scorers with 28 points on 9-21 from the field.<\/p>\n

Anfernee Simons scored 22 points while Damian Lillard added 21. Josh Hart also had an 11 point 10 rebound double-double. The Blazers currently occupy 8th place in the Western Conference, they are one game behind Denver in their division.<\/p>\n

Portland ranks 23rd in scoring with 110.3 points a game on 48.4% shooting. Lillard leads the team in scoring with 25.8 points per game while Anfernee Simons is right behind him with 24.7 points a game.<\/p>\n

They rank 11th in defensive scoring with 111 points per game on 46.9% from the field. Portland will be without the services of Keon Johnson, Gary Payton II and Nassir Little while Drew Eubanks and John Butler Jr are listed as day-to-day.<\/p>\n

Nuggets Dip To 14-10 On Season<\/h3>\n

The Denver Nuggets record has dipped to 14-10 after three straight losses to Atlanta, New Orleans and Dallas. Aaron Gordon led the way in the loss to Dallas with 27 points on 10-13 from the floor.<\/p>\n

Nikola Jokic added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists while Bones Hyland added 20 points off the bench.<\/p>\n

Denver fell behind 36-29 in the first quarter and were unable to bounce back despite outscoring Dallas in the final three quarters. The Nuggs rank 11th in scoring with 114.8 points a game on a league leading 50% from the field.<\/p>\n

The “Joker” leads Denver with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game. Defensively they rank 17th in scoring with 113.7 points allowed per game on 48.9% shooting. Small foward Michael Porter Jr is listed as questionable for this game with as he continues to miss time with a heel injury.<\/p>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Denver Nuggets favored by only one point and a total of 227. We should see plenty of scoring in this one with two efficient offenses that combined for 245 points back in October.<\/p>\n

Both teams last ten games have seen an average 226+ points per game. Jerami Grant has thrived in his first season in Portland with an average of 23 points per game. Grant has a point total set at 20.5, a total he has surpassed in seven straight games and 15 of 23 games on the season.<\/p>\n

This includes a 21 point effort against the Nuggs earlier this season. Lillards return didn’t have a negative effect as Grant scored 28 in his last game against the Indiana Pacers. Let’s keep riding the Grant train!!<\/p>\n
