Los Angeles Rams vs Las Vegas Raiders Preview<\/h3>\n

The Las Vegas Raiders return to Los Angeles for an interconference showdown with the Rams on Thursday night football. The Rams lost their sixth straight game 27-23 at home to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Raiders were also in action on Sunday as they won 27-20 on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers. Las Vegas came out on top 33-13 in their last meeting with Los Angeles way back on September 10th, 2018. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 PM EST\/5:15 PST from Sofi Stadium.<\/p>\n

Rams Hope To Snap Six Game Skid<\/h3>\n

A year after winning a Superbowl, the Los Angeles Rams guaranteed themselves a losing season as their record dipped to 3-9 after losing to the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams led 23-20 with 2:56 to play but allowed Seattle to drive 75 yards on 10 plays and score a game winning touchdown with only 36 seconds remaining.<\/p>\n

Cam Akers ran for two touchdowns and 60 yards on 17 carries. Quarterback John Wolford threw for only 178 while throwing two interceptions. “I’m proud to be rolling through this with this group. I’m proud to be battling through adversity with them.<\/p>\n

I’m going to continue to do everything in my power to try and change the result.” Sean McVay said following the loss. Los Angeles ranks 29th in the league in scoring with only 16.8 points per contest while ranking 25th in passing and 30th in rushing.<\/p>\n

They allow 23.3 points a game which ranks 22nd in the NFL. The Rams injury report is one to be monitored closely. First, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson II are all on injured reserve.<\/p>\n

Aaron Donald missed the Seattle game with an ankle injury and is questionable this week. Quarterback John Wolford and linebackers Travin Howard & Terrell Lewis all missed Mondays practice.<\/p>\n

Road Raiders<\/h3>\n

The Las Vegas Raiders improved to 5-7 on the season, after they rallied back from an early deficit to beat the Los Angeles Chargers for a third straight victory. The Raiders scored 17 unanswered points after halftime, the Chargers scored to pull within a single possession but ultimately Vegas held on.<\/p>\n

Davante Adams has another monster effort as he caught 8 of 12 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Jacobs ran for 144 yards and a touchdown while Derek Carr threw for 250 yards two touchdowns and an interception.<\/p>\n

“Whenever you call something (where Adams or Jacobs) have a chance of touching the football, you feel pretty good about it. They’re the reason for that. They come through over and over again in critical situations.”<\/p>\n

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said following the win. Las Vegas ranks 9th in passing offense & 11th in rushing offense as they now rank 9th in scoring with 23.3 points per contest. They rank 26th in scoring defense as they allow 24.7 points per game.<\/p>\n

The Raiders also have a lengthy injury report as defensive tackle Andrew Billings, tight end Jesper Horsted, linebacker Jayon Brown and cornerbacks Rock Ya-Sin & Tyler Hall all missed practice.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Rams vs Las Vegas Raiders Prop Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Las Vegas Raiders are 6 point road favorites with a total set at 44.5. This is a battle of two teams heading in opposite directions as the Rams have lost six straight while the Raiders have won three straight.<\/p>\n

Davante Adams has been unstoppable during his last five games with 7+ receptions and double digits targets in each game. He also has four 100+ yard receiving yards in his last five games with 74 yards in the 5th game.<\/p>\n

His receiving total is set at 89.5 yards, he has eclipsed this number in 7 of 11 games on the season. The Rams allow the 8th most receiving yards a game to opposing wide receivers with 165.5 per game.<\/p>\n
