Reggina vs Frosinone Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

First-place Frosinone travels over to the Stadio Oreste Granillo in Calabria to take on second-place Reggina in a game that could see the home side leapfrog the road team in the league table with a victory here on Thursday.<\/p>\n

After winning six-straight games, Frosinone has come off the boil in recent weeks with draws in each of their last two matches against Cagliari and Sudtirol.<\/p>\n

Reggina, meanwhile, has won three of its last four games and has lost just once at home all season, that coming in a shocking result against bottom-of-the-table Perugia back in late October.<\/p>\n

These two teams have played out a competitive recent history, with each side owning a W3, D3, L3 record over their last nine games. However, Reggina has lost just one of their last four head-to-heads against Frosinone in this venue.<\/p>\n

Frosinone Looks To Sturdy Defense<\/h3>\n

Frosinone sits atop the Serie B table for one simple reason this season and that\u2019s their defense. The Canaries have allowed an average of just 0.67 goals per game to opponents this season for the league’s No. 1 overall defensive mark.<\/p>\n

Frosinone kept eight clean sheets over their first 13 league games to open up their campaign. However, with three goals conceded across their last two starts and giving up 1.23 xGA on defense this year also, that tide may be starting to turn on the Canaries ahead of this one.<\/p>\n

Goals, Goals, Goals For Reggina<\/h3>\n

While Reggina has notalways been stellar defensively this season, averaging almost a goal per game to opponents at home this year, they\u2019ve nevertheless more than made up for this in their red-hot offense this season.<\/p>\n

\u2018Gli Amaranto\u2019 has averaged a red-hot 2.71 goals per game at home this season, and have scored at least two goals in every single home game as well, meaning it\u2019s been a consistent level of scoring and not just one or two blowout wins to skew the numbers.<\/p>\n

With the league\u2019s second-highest offensive xG output this year behind only current opponents Frosinone, it\u2019s not likely that goal tally will fall anytime soon either.<\/p>\n

Reggina vs Frosinone Prediction<\/h2>\n

This should be an extremely competitive game on Thursday between the top two teams in the league, and as such the outright draw looks like the value play<\/strong> in this one.<\/p>\n

Both teams rank top-three in the league across almost every category this season and the draw has cashed in two of their last four head-to-heads as well.<\/p>\n

With Frosinone struggling to generate wins over recent games, this could well end up in another stalemate here on Thursday, so we\u2019re taking the outright draw at +200 between Frosinone and Reggina over in Serie B this week.<\/p>\n
