Phoenix Suns vs Boston Celtics Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Boston Celtics continue a long road trip in Phoenix against the Suns on Wednesday night from Talking Stick Resort Arena. The Suns are coming off a 130-111 loss on the road against the Dallas Mavericks.<\/p>\n

The Celtics prevailed north of the border on Monday night by the final score of 116-110. This is the first of two games in a regular season series that Phoenix split with Boston in the 2021-22 campaign. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 @ PM EST\/7:00 PST as the second game of an ESPN doubleheader.<\/p>\n

Boston Strong On The Road<\/h3>\n

The Boston Celtics have opened a difficult road trip with wins in Brooklyn and Toronto. Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 31 points to go along with 12 rebounds in the victory over the Raptors.<\/p>\n

Jaylen Brown also added 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. “You have to play back-to-backs. You can’t run from them.” Celtics interim head Joe Mazzulla said. Boston owns the best record in the NBA at 20-5.<\/p>\n

They are the leagues #1 scoring offense with 120.6 points on 49.4% from the field. Jayson Tatum has been an absolute monster with 30.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. The Celtics defense ranks 13th with 113.6 points allowed per game on 46.9% from the field.<\/p>\n

The Celtics have achieved the leagues best record despite playing without their starting center Robert Williams III. Other than Williams, Malcolm Brogdon is listed as probable with an illness.<\/p>\n

Suns Set On A Bounce Back<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns record dipped to 16-8 on the season after losing 130-111 to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. De’Andre Ayton led the Suns scorers with only 20 points to go along with 8 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Cameron Payne added a 14 point 10 assist double-double while Mikal Bridges chipped in with 13 points. Phoenix allowed Dallas to go 20 for 41 from three-point land while shooting 44% from the field. The Suns offensive attack rank 7th in scoring with 116.5 points per game on 48% from the floor.<\/p>\n

On defense, they rank 6th with 109.3 points allowed per game on 46.4% from the field. Chris Paul said that he plans to return from a heel injury tonight while Torrey Craig is questionable with a groin injury. Cam Johnson and Duane Washington Jr have both been ruled out for the contest.<\/p>\n

The Boston Celtics are one point road favorites with a total set at 230.5. This is an outstanding matchup between the top team in the East going head-to-head with the top team in the West. If Paul returns, both teams would be at full strength outside of the Celtics playing without Robert Williams III.<\/p>\n

We strongly considered Mikal Bridges under for points last game as he drew the unenviable task of guarding Luka Doncic. Bridges will need to expel tons of energy on defense once again tonight as he will be asked to guard Jayson Tatum.<\/p>\n

Bridges is an elite defender with a point total set at 14.5 tonight. He has fallen short of this total 16 of 24 games so far this season. In two head-to-head meetings with Boston last season, he scored only 10 & 14 points.<\/p>\n

The home team generally dictates pace and Phoenix ranks 21st, which means less possessions. Chris Paul could return tonight which could take stats away from multiple Suns players. Regardless, Bridges is going to be focused on defense while players like Booker & Atlyton take on the bulk of the Suns scoring.<\/p>\n
