Winnipeg Jets vs Florida Panthers Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Back-to-back 5-1 wins now for the Florida Panthers has finally seen them turn a corner of late after dropping six of their previous seven games overall.<\/p>\n

Two goals inside 30 seconds for Carter Verhaeghe got the ball rolling for the Panthers against the Seattle Kraken on Saturday in a game they never looked back in, but they\u2019ll likely need to maintain that red-hot form here against a team in the Winnipeg Jets who are in some solid form of their own right now.<\/p>\n

The Jets have won four of their last five games outright and have been blowing out the majority of their opponents also, with each of their last three wins coming via a 17-4 combined scoring advantage.<\/p>\n

Florida and Winnipeg faced off against each other twice last season, with Florida taking both games by a combined 11-4 scoring margin.<\/p>\n

Florida Just Getting Warmed Up<\/h3>\n

While their overall scoring offense has the Florida Panthers barely scraping inside the top ten this season, their expected goals numbers paint a very different picture.<\/p>\n

Florida has by far the best offensive xG in the league this year, along with ranking 2nd in high-danger creation rate as well.<\/p>\n

However, a sub-10 % shot conversion percentage has seen them fail to convert that dominance into goals, at least early on in the season, but with back-to-back 5-1 victories secured over their last two starts, that dominance in data may finally have transitioned over to their actual performances.<\/p>\n

Hellebuyck Has Been Immense For The Jets This Season<\/h3>\n

While the Jets can point to a fairly stingy defense overall this season, one that has given up just 2.57 goals against per game on average, good for a top-five spot in the league, a lot of that success for the Jets has come from the man in between the pipes for them, Connor Hellebuyck.<\/p>\n

Hellebuyck is tied in 1st for the number of shut-outs in the league this season. He also ranks 3rd on SV% at .931, and most importantly moving forward, he boasts the league\u2019s #1 GSAA average also at 15.43 goals saved above average, as he continues to operate at an extremely high level for the Jets this season.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg Jets vs Florida Panthers Prediction<\/h2>\n

Florida\u2019s numbers have been rock solid all year and it looks like their offense has finally started to catch up to that dominance in data, so we\u2019re happy to side with the Panthers in this one.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg\u2019s numbers have been a lot less impressive this season, with the Jets ranking 24th on overall expected goals and 14th on expected goals against also, benefitting from the league\u2019s 4th highest expected to actual goals differential this season.<\/p>\n

That might catch up to them here, and we like the Florida Panthers to get the outright win on the road against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
