Memphis Grizzlies vs Miami Heat Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Miami Heat wrap up a four game road trip in Memphis against the Grizzlies on Monday night. The Grizzlies cruised to a 122-112 victory on the road yesterday against the Detroit Pistons.<\/p>\n

The Heat managed a two game split with the Boston Celtics after prevailing 120-116 in overtime. This will be the first of two games in a regular season series as they play again on March 15th in Miami. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM EST\/5:00.<\/p>\n

Heat Check<\/h3>\n

The Miami Heat improved to an uninspiring 10-11 on the season after splitting two games in Boston against the Celtics. Jimmy Butler returned to action in the second game, as he recorded a 25 point 15 rebound double-double in the overtime victory on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Bam Adebayo also had 28 points and 7 rebounds while Tyler Herro scored 26 points on six three-pointers. Miami has six players that average double digit points as Butler leads the team with 21 points a game while Kyle Lowry lead the teams assists with close to six per game.<\/p>\n

The Heat are scoring an average of only 109.5 points a game which is 26th in the league. Miami is 8th I’m points allowed with 110.3 points allowed per game on 47.3% from the field. The Heat average 41.2 rebounds per game and Adebayo paces the team with 9.1 per contest.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Butler and Gabe Vincent are both questionable for this one with knee injuries. Tyler Herro (ankle), Duncan Robinson (ankle) and Max Strus (shoulder) are all probable to play tonight.<\/p>\n

Grizzlies Begin Four Game Homestand<\/h3>\n

The Memphis Grizzlies kick off a four game homestand after beating the Detroit Pistons 122-112 yesterday afternoon. Ja Morant led all scorers hands down with 33 points to go along 10 assists to give him a double-double.<\/p>\n

Jarrett Jackson Jr and Dillon Brooks both scored 22 points while Brandon Clarke added a 14 point 14 rebounds. The Grizz have improved to 14-9 on the season after winning four of their last five games.<\/p>\n

Memphis is scoring 115 points a game which is 10th in the NBA on 46% from the field. Morant paces the team with 28.2 points per game on the same shooting percentage. The Grizzlies allow an average of 113.8 points a game which is 17th.<\/p>\n

In the league while holding opponents to 46.5% from the floor. Jaren Jackson Jr has already been ruled out for this contest as part of injury management and Desmond Bane remains in a walking boot. Ja Morant, Zaire Williams and Jake LaRavia are all doubtful for the game with various injuries.<\/p>\n

Memphis Grizzlies vs Miami Heat Prop Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Miami Heat are 4.5 road favorites over the Memphis Grizzlies with a total of 218.5. This could be an amazing interconference matchup but the dreaded injury report looms large.<\/p>\n

The Heat still don’t have any player props available and there are only three players listed for the Grizzlies. Based on this, I’m fully expecting Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Ja Morant to sit tonight while Jackson Jr. and Bane are already ruled out.<\/p>\n

Seems like a clunky start could be on the horizon as both teams search of for scoring options. Memphis is playing the second game of a back-to-back while Miami plays its fourth and final road game so both could favor a slower tempo.<\/p>\n

The Heat give up the fewest points in the paint so that takes away the easy baskets for the Grizzlies. Let’s go with under 56.5 in the 1st quarter and look for a slow start between two tired and banged up squads.<\/p>\n
