Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns visit the America Airlines Center for a marquee Western Conference clash with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. The Mavericks are coming off a 121-100 road victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Suns are playing the second game of a back-to-back after an easy 133-95 victory in San Antonio. This will be the second of four head-to-head meetings after Phoenix prevailed 107-105 at home on opening night. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM EST\/5:30 PST on NBATV.<\/p>\n

Mavericks Look To Build Momentum<\/h3>\n

The Dallas Mavericks got back to .500 (11-11) after winning for the second time in their last three games 121-100 over the New York Knicks. Dallas superstar Luka Doncic led the way with a game high 30 points to go with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.<\/p>\n

Tim Hardaway Jr was right behind him with 28 points on 10 of 17 from the field and 8 of 13 from three-point land. Dallas made a staggering 24 of 61 attempts from beyond the arc. “I think it’s great to see everyone in the locker room smiling.” Said Mavs head coach Jason Kidd.<\/p>\n

“Everybody saw the ball go in, and we shared the ball, we played the right way.” In general, the Mavs offense has struggled, ranking only 21st with 110.6 points per game.<\/p>\n

Defense is the Dallas calling card, they rank 4th in scoring with only 108.3 points allowed per game. Christian Wood is questionable for Mondays contest due to an illness and Kemba Walker has yet to suit up for the team due to a knee injury.<\/p>\n

No Rest For The Wicked<\/h3>\n

The Phoenix Suns will play the second game of a back-to-back handling their business 133-95 against the San Antonio Spurs yesterday afternoon. Big man De’Andre Ayton led his team in scoring with a 25 point 10 rebound double-double.<\/p>\n

Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges both added 20 points while Josh Okogie grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench. The Suns currently sit on top of the Western Conference standings with a stellar 16-7 record.<\/p>\n

The Suns rank 7th in scoring with 116.7 points per game on 48.1% from the field. Devin Booker has been lighting it up with 29 5 points a game, he is one of only ten players to avenge double digit field goal makes with 10.6 per game.<\/p>\n

Phoenix is strong defensively as well, allowing only 109 points a game and ranking 6th in the league. Chris Paul (heel) and Torey Craig (groin) are both questionable and seem unlikely to play in this contest. Cam Johnson remains out with a meniscus tear and Jae Crowder still hasn’t joined the team due to personal issues.<\/p>\n

Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns Player Prop Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Dallas Mavericks are 2.5 point home favorites over the Phoenix Suns with a total of 221.5. This should be one of the best matchups on tonight’s slate between two of the contenders in the Western Conference. Mikal Bridges is an elite defender who will draw the difficult task of guarding Luka Doncic.<\/p>\n

Bridges offense takes a direct hit in games against the Dallas Mavericks and we can take full advantage. Bridges has a point total set at 15.5, he has cleared that only once in his last 9 games against the Mavs and that was a perfect 7-7 shooting performance.<\/p>\n

He has also failed to eclipse this total in all seven playoff games against Dallas last season. Bridges has scored 20+ in two straight games, but those were against the turnstile defense of Houston & San Antonio. Now he faces the top five Mavericks top five defense, the home team generally dictates pace and Dallas ranks dead last.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Bridges being on the road, he averages two points less per game there and has went under 15.5 points in 7 of 9 away games. We could also see the return of Chris Paul and\/or Torey Craig, which would just be the cherry on top.<\/p>\n

Watch for Bridges to use up tons of energy guarding Doncic in a hard fought defensive game thus keeping him from scoring and holding him under this total.<\/p>\n
