Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Miami Heat travel to TD Garden for the first of two games against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. The Celtics are coming off a 140-105 home thrashing of the Charlotte Hornets.<\/p>\n

The Heat snapped a seven-game road losing streak with a 106-98 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. This is the second head-to-head meetings with these teams, Boston prevailed 111-104 at Miami back in October and they play again on Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST\/4:30 PST on NBATV.<\/p>\n

Heat Check<\/h3>\n

The Miami Heat have worked their record back up to 10-11 after three straight wins including a victory in Atlanta on Sunday. Bam Adebayo put the team on his back with 32 points on 13 of 20 from the floor along with 8 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Tyler Herro had a well-rounded 11 point, 11 rebound, 10 assist triple-double while Caleb Martin chipped in with 20 points. Kyle Lowry called it “a gutty win” saying that “we held a team with two superstar players under 100 points, it shows a lot from this team.”<\/p>\n

Points have been hard to come by as the Heat rank 28th in scoring with only 108.4 points per game while ranking 26th in team shooting.<\/p>\n

Defensively they rank 8th in scoring as they hold opponents to 108.9 points a game on 47% from the floor. Leading scorer Jimmy Butler isn’t expected to play in either of the two games in Boston due to a knee injury while Duncan Robinson is questionable with a ankle injury.<\/p>\n

Boston Strong<\/h3>\n

At 17-4 the Boston Celtics look to be primed for another run at the NBA Finals despite playing without their starting center Robert Williams III. The leagues #1 scoring team flexed it’s muscles on Monday night with an impressive 140-105 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 35 points on 15 of 28 from the floor. Marcus Smart had a career high 15 assists along with 22 points. Malcolm Brogdon chipped in with 21 points off the bench on an efficient 8 of 9 from the field.<\/p>\n

Boston averages 121.3 points per game which is more than two points better than any other team in the NBA. They have hit the most three-pointers per game with 16.7 at the highest percentage of 40.3%.<\/p>\n

Defense was their calling card last season but this year they are middle of the pack at 14th with 112.9 points allowed per game. Both Jaylen Brown and Al Horford missed the game against Charlotte due to minor injuries and are both expected to be all systems go for Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

The Boston Celtics are heavy home favorites with a 9-point spread and a total of 224.5. This is a potential Eastern Conference championship series preview as neither team is going away anytime soon. Defense would normally stand out when these teams meet but the Heat are playing without Jimmy Butler while the Celtics are scoring points left and right.<\/p>\n

Nothing stands out to me from an individual player prop perspective, and we haven’t done a same game parlay in a while, so let’s cook one up!! The Celtics seem untouchable and should take care of business as the Heat play without Butler.<\/p>\n

Let’s play it safe with Celtics winning by 5+ points. MVP candidate Jayson Tatum has taken his game to another level and is a near shoe in for 30 points a night.<\/p>\n

The lowest number we can get is 26.5, a total he has hit in four straight games as well as 14 of 20 games on the season. Of the six times he fell short, he landed on 26 three times. Let’s go over 26.5 points on the Celtics superstar.<\/p>\n

Kyle Lowry is an aging veteran who doesn’t have the physical ability to play around the basket, but his three-point shooting has been there. He has recorded 2+ threes in 10 of his last 14 games.<\/p>\n

The Celtics do a good job shutting down the corner three, but Lowry’s long distance shot generally falls from the middle of the floor. Without Butler on the floor, the veteran Lowry should see more opportunities and sink 2 or more from beyond the arc. Wrap up all three picks for a safe +230 parlay!!<\/p>\n
