Chicago Blackhawks vs Edmonton Oilers Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Edmonton Oilers will look for more consistency as they travel to the United Center to take on the struggling Chicago Blackhawks here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Struggling might be an understatement for this Blackhawks team as well as they\u2019ve won just two of their last fifteen games overall, including losing seven straight, and desperately need to find a way to halt their current trajectory.<\/p>\n

Edmonton won a 6-5 shootout earlier in the season against Chicago with Leon Draisaitl getting the game-winning goal in the final minute of regulation to hand the Oilers the win.<\/p>\n

Edmonton Hoping They\u2019ve Turned A Corner<\/h3>\n

It certainly looked like the Oilers’ struggles were in full effect once again on Saturday as they fell down 3-0 early against the New York Rangers.<\/p>\n

However, Edmonton was able to roar back in that game with four goals in the third period alone, two of which came from Evan Bouchard, as they dominated that final period with a confidence-building fightback.<\/p>\n

Evan Bouchard was the hero once again on Monday as Edmonton fought back against Florida also, and those character-defining wins may well stand them in good stead moving forward in the season.<\/p>\n

Chicago May Have Hit Season-Low<\/h3>\n

While their overall record in the league has been dismal of late, what\u2019s arguably been even worse for the Blackhawks has been their recent performances, especially Sunday\u2019s 7-2 home blowout loss against the Winnipeg Jets.<\/p>\n

The Jets had almost double the shot count of Chicago in that game and smashed four goals past them in just the second period alone as Chicago looks like a team severely short on confidence right now.<\/p>\n

Six of the Blackhawks’ last seven losses have come via multiple-goal margins as well.<\/p>\n

Chicago Blackhawks vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction<\/h2>\n

Chicago looks like a team on the ropes right now and facing a rejuvenated Edmonton team here on Wednesday might not be the best recipe in which to reverse that trend either.<\/p>\n

The Oilers rank joint-4th in the league this season on overall offensive xG and face a Chicago team here who are averaging 3.62 gapg to opponents this season, including a double-digit opponent shot conversion percentage also, so all signs point to a dominant Edmonton win here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll take the Edmonton Oilers -1.5 on Wednesday to win and cover on the road against the Chicago Blackhawks.<\/p>\n
