Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Golden State Warriors travel to Dallas for a rematch of last seasons Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks. The Mavericks lost their fourth straight game 124-115 at the Milwaukee Bucks. The Warriors ran roughshod over the Minnesota Timberwolves 137-114 this past Sunday.<\/p>\n

This will be the first of three games in a regular season series that Dallas swept 3-0 last season. However Golden State got the last laugh as they prevailed in the Conference Finals. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST\/4:30 PST as the first half of a TNT doubleheader from America Airlines Center.<\/p>\n

Mavericks Hope To End Four Game Skid<\/h3>\n

The Dallas Mavericks record dropped to 9-10 as they lost their fourth game 124-115 to the Dallas Mavericks. Milwaukee outscored Dallas 52-38 in the paint while yielding 20 fast break points. Luka Doncic led the team in points and assists with a 27 point 12 assist double-double.<\/p>\n

Spencer Dinwiddie added 22 points on 8 of 13 from the floor while Christian Wood scored 21 points off the bench. The Mavs are limited on the offensive side at 27th in scoring with only 109 points a game.<\/p>\n

Defense is their calling card as they rank 4th with only 107 points allowed per game. The Mavs currently sport a clean injury report, a breathe of fresh air nowadays.<\/p>\n

Warriors Look For Their Fourth Straight Victory<\/h3>\n

The Golden State Warriors have been the polar opposite of the the Dallas Mavericks as they have won three straight including a 137-114 drubbing of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Steph Curry led the way with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists.<\/p>\n

Jordan Poole added 24 points and 6 assists off the bench while Draymond Green recorded a 19 point 11 rebound double-double. Green was quoted after the game “Guys are in shape now and it’s really opening the floor and most importantly our defense has picked up”.<\/p>\n

The defense needs to improvement as they rank 27th in defensive scoring with 117.3 points per game. Offense has actually been what’s led this team as they rank 4th with 117.8 points per game on 48.3% from the field. The Warriors also have a clean injury report outside of Andre Iguodala who hasn’t made an appearance this season.<\/p>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Golden State Warriors being favored by only 1.5 points with a total of 228. This is an amazing game from a storyline perspective with it being the first head-to-head matchup since the Western Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

The Mavericks thrive on defense while the Warriors have been an offensive team. We quoted Draymond Green speaking about the defensive strides his team has made but whats ironic is his recent uptick in scoring.<\/p>\n

His points prop is set at only 8.5, a total Green has cleared in three straight games as well as 5 of his last 6 games. The Mavs do play elite defense but who will they concentrate on? Steph Curry? Yes. Klay Thompson? Yes. Jordan Poole? Yes. Draymond Green? Not so much.<\/p>\n

Not only that, the Mavs allow the 5th most points to opposing power fowards with 23.9 per game. Green only needs 38% of that to eclipse 8.5 and we get it at -105 to boot.<\/p>\n
