Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The New York Knicks travel to Detroit for an interconference showdown with the Pistons on Tuesday night. The Pistons are coming off a 102-94 home loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers.<\/p>\n

The Knicks are also coming off a home loss as the Memphis Grizzlies prevailed 127-123 in a shootout on Sunday night. This is the third of four meetings in a regular season series that New York currently leads 2-0. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM EST\/4:00 PST from Little Caesars Arena.<\/p>\n

Pistons Fall Flat<\/h3>\n

The short-handed Detroit Pistons record fell to a brutal 5-17 on the season after being dominated by a strong Cleveland Cavaliers defense in a 102-94 home loss.<\/p>\n

Marvin Bagley III led his team in points and rebounds with a 19 point 10 rebound double-double. Point guard Killian Hayes added 16 points and 8 assists. Detroit was missing starters Bojan Bogdonavic, Cade Cunningham, Isaiah Stewart and Jaden Ivey, all of which are questionable or out tonight.<\/p>\n

The Pistons are the worst team in the Eastern Conference partially due to injuries. Defense has been a major issue, ranking 25th in scoring with 116.9 points per game.<\/p>\n

The scoring hasn’t been there either as they rank 25th with only 109.1 points per game. The big question mark with this team tonight is who plays and who doesn’t as their injury report is busting at the seems.<\/p>\n

Knicks Run By Grizzlies<\/h3>\n

The New York Knicks record dropped to 9-11 on the season after running on of steam in a home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Ja Morant shined in front of the crowd at Madison Square Garden as they young superstar recorded a triple-double.<\/p>\n

Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 30 points while recording 9 assists. RJ Barrett chipped in with 22 points while Julius Randle added a 14 point 10 rebound double-double. The Knicks should come into this game with plenty of confidence after beating the Pistons on October 21st and November 11th.<\/p>\n

Offense has been the calling card for New York as they rank 9th in scoring with 114.6 points per game. The defense hasn’t been there as they rank 26th with 116.9 points allowed per game. Point guard Immanuel Quickly is the only current injury concern as he is questionable with a knee injury.<\/p>\n

The New York Knicks enter this contest as 4.5 point road favorites with a total of 226. Before you make any sort of play in this game, double check the injury report especially on the Pistons side.<\/p>\n

The Knicks are desperate need of a victory after losing four of their last five games, so they need to take advantage of this spot. New York has been scoring a ton of points recently with 123 points or more in three straight games.<\/p>\n

The Pistons defense is a short-handed turnstile that has already let the Knicks score 121 & 130 this season. The pace of this game could be slowed with Detroit missing so many players.<\/p>\n

I don’t trust the Knicks to play disciplined defense on the road if they know that they can easily win by outscoring the Pistons. The Knicks team total is set at 115.5 and I’m going over in this one.<\/p>\n
