Memphis Grizzlies vs Sacramento Kings Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Sacramento Kings travel to FedEx Forum in search of their 7th straight victory as they face the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. The Grizzlies record dropped to 10-7 on the season after losing 127-115 in Brooklyn against the Nets.<\/p>\n

The Kings improved to 9-6 after winning a 137-129 shootout against the Detroit Pistons. This will be the second of four meetings between these teams as the Grizzlies prevailed 125-110 in first matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM EST\/5:00 PST.<\/p>\n

Grizzlies Need Replacements To Roar<\/h3>\n

The Memphis Grizzlies fell to 10-7 on the season after dropping three of their last four games including a 12 point loss to Brooklyn in their last game. Ja Morant & Desmond Bane were both out with injury, as they will be for tonight’s contest.<\/p>\n

Dillon Brooks led all scorers with 31 on 13 of 30 from the field. Steven Adams added a 15 point 10 rebound double-double. Zaire Williams and Danny Green are both out along with Morant and Bane.<\/p>\n

Memphis ranks 10th in scoring with an average of 114.4 points. The Grizz rank just below average in defensive scoring with 114 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

King Size Winning Streak<\/h3>\n

After a brutal 3-6 start, the Sacramento have improved to 9-6 on the season after winning 6 straight games with an average of 132 points during that span. De’Aaron Fox led all scorers with 33 points on 11 of 18 shooting from the floor.<\/p>\n

Harrison Barnes added 27 points while Kevin Huerter added 24 points of his own. Domantas Sabonis chipped in with a 15 point 13 rebound double-double to go along with 7 assists.<\/p>\n

Sacramento have had 16 straight losing seasons and still have a long way to go. But under new head coach Mike Browns leadership, the Kings have the 5th best winning percentage in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n

During the six game winning streak they have a league best 128.9 offensive rating. De’Aaron Fox leads the team with 25.4 points a game and has the 9th best player efficiency ranking in the league. The Kings currently sport a clean injury report, a rare sight.<\/p>\n

This game is a virtual pick’em with the Memphis Grizzlies favored by 1.5 points with a total of 234. This would normally be a must watch with exciting superstars on both sides.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are both out for this one. Those two players combined for 53 points when these teams met back in late October. In that game, Kings star De’Aaron Fox scored 27 points while going 11 for 19 from the field.<\/p>\n

The Fox point total is a bit lower than usual at 24.5, mostly due to a potential blowout. Fox has cleared that number in 5 of his last 8 games. I’m going with the hot hand of Fox in this one.<\/p>\n
