Napoli vs Udinese Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Napoli extended its lead at the top of the Serie A table on Tuesday night with a 2-0 home win against struggling Empoli.<\/p>\n

Two second-half goals from Hirving Lozano and Piotr Zielinski secured all three points for the home side in that one and they\u2019ll look to follow that up here in their final game before an almost two-month league hiatus ahead of the World Cup later this month.<\/p>\n

Udinese comes off a disappointing 1-1 draw against Spezia in midweek, a result which continued their current seven-game winless run across all competitions since the start of October. It looks like a very tall order for Andrea Sotill\u2019s men to try and snap that streak here with the way their playing right now against the runaway league leaders on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Udinese has not beaten Napoli across any competition in well over six years, and in Naples itself, that record gets even worse. Udinese has lost nine-straight games in this venue heading into Saturday\u2019s matchup.<\/p>\n

Udinese Still Robust Despite Recent Struggles<\/h3>\n

After a red-hot start to the season where Udinese won six of its opening eight games, it\u2019s been mostly downhill for them since the start of October as they currently languish in mid-table.<\/p>\n

However, despite their recent issues, Udinese has presented a tough obstacle for opponents this season, with no team in the league managing to come back from more losing positions than Udinese have this year. Udineses boasts one of the league\u2019s best defensive xGA numbers over the last month as well.<\/p>\n

Napoli\u2019s Bench Continues To Come Up Big<\/h3>\n

While the Neapolitans struggled to break down Empoli for large parts in Tuesday’s game, their bench again came up big. Napoli\u2019s nine goals from substitute positions this season ranks as the most out of any team across any of the top five leagues in Europe this year.<\/p>\n

Napoli\u2019s other major strength has been their offense this season, ranking as the No. 1 team in total scoring, total shots and offensive xG in Serie A this year.<\/p>\n

Napoli vs Udinese Prediction<\/h2>\n

With Udinese\u2019s obvious struggles since the beginning of October, it has to be Napoli or pass in this one on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Napoli\u2019s numbers absolutely dwarf Udinese\u2019s this season on both home\/road form split this year and recency bias also, with Udinese\u2019s only positive numbers across that stretch coming from their defense.<\/p>\n

That said, as well as they’ve been playing over recent matches, Udinese will be very fortunate indeed to keep out a Napoli offense here that has generated a league-high 2.43 goals per game this season (2.57 at home). With some -1.25 lines already beginning to pop up at the time of writing this article, getting Napoli at the widely-available -1 line here on Saturday looks like the value play this weekend against Udinese.<\/p>\n
