Toronto Maple Leafs vs Philadelphia Flyers Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Philadelphia Flyers head over to Toronto on Wednesday night coming in off the back of consecutive OT losses to the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers respectively over recent matchups, but will look to turn things around tonight against a Toronto Maple Leaf’s team off four straight losses themselves.<\/p>\n

A five-game road trip for the Leafs started out well enough with a 4-1 win against Winnipeg two weeks ago before quickly going south, with four straight losses following on from that against the Golden Knights, Sharks, Kings and Ducks respectively to see Toronto slip to second from bottom in the Atlantic Division.<\/p>\n

These two sides faced each other three times during the regular season last year with Toronto taking all three meetings by a combined 14-5 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Flyers Struggling Offensively To Start The Season<\/h3>\n

With an average of just 1.75 goals scored across each of their last four starts in league action, concern has understandably grown in the Philly camp as to where their resurgence in offense is going to come from.<\/p>\n

The data backs those sub-par numbers up also as the Flyers rank 31st in the league this season on overall expected goals, only marginally ahead of Arizona in last place, and own the league\u2019s second-worst scoring chances created tally this year as well.<\/p>\n

Leafs Strong On Home Ice<\/h3>\n

While the Leafs struggled over their most recent road trip out West, a return home here might be just what the doctor ordered as Toronto has been incredibly strong at home going all the way back to last season.<\/p>\n

The Maple Leafs are 41-16 in their last 57 home games overall and owned one of the league\u2019s best offensive records last year, and could well return to that form later tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers in the confines of the Scotiabank Arena.<\/p>\n

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Philadelphia Flyers Prediction<\/h2>\n

Toronto are no doubt the much better team heading into this one, ranking top half in the league on both offensive xG and top ten in defensive xGA this season as well, and should provide too much quality tonight, especially at home, for this Flyers team.<\/p>\n

That said, this line is incredibly high, so we\u2019re instead going to pivot toward taking the Under 7 goals in this one as Toronto should be able to limit Philadelphia offensively tonight.<\/p>\n
