St. Louis Blues vs Los Angeles Kings Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Four straight losses now for the St. Louis Blues heading into Monday\u2019s clash against the LA Kings and it\u2019s been their defense that has been the main culprit in that run, letting in an average of 5 goals per game across their last four starts.<\/p>\n

LA meanwhile have been see-sawing this year, alternating winning runs and losses to start the season, but will hope to put together a greater level of consistency here tonight after securing an excellent win over Toronto at the weekend.<\/p>\n

St. Louis won two of their three meetings against the Kings last year, both of which came at home for the Blues.<\/p>\n

Sorokin Impressing Early This Year<\/h3>\n

Jonathan Quick is expected in nets tonight for the Kings and it\u2019s been a difficult start to the season overall for him, registering with the 3rd worst GSAA average in the league this season so far with a poor .878 SV% also.<\/p>\n

That performance isn\u2019t all on him, however, as the LA Kings rank 21st in the league this season on overall defensive xGA and 20th on opponent high-danger creation rate also.<\/p>\n

St. Louis Struggling On The Percentages<\/h3>\n

While the St. Louis Blues have a solid record this year in terms of scoring chances both created and given up, along with high-danger creation rate and opponent-allowed rate also, their percentages in both of those categories has been woeful to start the year.<\/p>\n

The Blues are connecting on just 8.2% of their high-danger scoring opportunities inside the slot this season, 26th in the league overall, and are allowing an even worse 17.7% to opponents in that same category, 2nd worst in the league overall as well.<\/p>\n

St. Louis Blues vs Los Angeles Kings Prediction<\/h2>\n

We believe there\u2019s value in taking the Kings in this spot tonight as short-road underdogs.<\/p>\n

LA\u2019s offense has been on fire to start the year, netting 3.50 goals per game, boasting a 10%+ shots to goal percentage, ranking #1 in the league overall on power plays, and ranking #2 on offensive xG this year as well.<\/p>\n

With the issues St. Louis are currently having in their conversion percentages this season, this is a solid spot to jump in on the Kings later tonight, especially as the Blues are just 1-5 in their last six home games this year also.<\/p>\n
