Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Cleveland Cavaliers travel to TD Garden to face the Boston Celtics in an Eastern Conference clash on Friday night. The Celtics lost their first game of the season 120-102 on Monday night in Chicago against the Bulls.<\/p>\n

The Cavaliers are coming off a 103-92 home victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday evening. This is the first of four head-to-head meetings in the season series that Boston won 2-1 last night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST\/4:30 PST.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Makes Cavs A Contender<\/h3>\n

The off-season addition of Donovan Mitchell seems to be paying off as the All-Star guard led the team in scoring for each of the first three games. However, Mitchell hit a speed bump as he only scored 14 points on 5 of 19 from the field in a 103-92 loss to the Orlando Magic.<\/p>\n

“Spida” did lead the Cavaliers in assists with 8 dimes. Evan Mobley paced the Cavs with 20 points as Jarrett Allen patrolled the paint with a game-high 16 boards. The Cavs boast the #2 scoring defense the league with only 100.8 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Offensively they sit just below average at 16th with 113 points a game. This you core will be exciting to watch throughout the season but a win over Boston early in the season will go a long way.<\/p>\n

Finals Or Bust<\/h3>\n

The Boston Celtics are building off their NBA Finals and they are off to a 3-1 start this season with wins against Philadelphia, Orlando and Miami. However they lost their first game of the season on Monday 120-102 against the Chicago Bulls.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatum led all scorers with 26 points while also pacing his team in rebounds with 8. Marcus Smart was the games assist leader with 6 dimes. The Celtics suffered an additional setback as Grant Williams received a one game suspension for making contact with an official.<\/p>\n

Boston was already thin on bigs as Robert Williams III continues to recoup from off-season knee surgery. The Celtics rank 10th in scoring with 116.3 points a game.<\/p>\n

Defense was the C’s calling card last season as they led the league in scoring defense and both field goal & three-point against. They haven’t been able to replicate this effort as they currently rank 19th with over 115 points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prop Bet<\/h2>\n

The Boston Celtics are 6.5 point home favorites with a total of 218.5. I immediately started looking at unders as the Cavs will surely look to muddy the waters defensively.<\/p>\n

However the next thing that caught my eye was the suspension of Grant Williams. This makes the rebounding props tough to gage based in how minutes will be effected. One things for sure, the Celtics have 10-12 points available to the remainder of the roster tonight.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatums point total is set at 26.5, a total he has cleared in 3 of 4 games with 35, 40 & 29 points. The only game he fell short was by the hook as he landed on 26.<\/p>\n

The Celtics haven’t been playing elite defense yet as they await thereturn of Robert Williams III. This could make for a higher scoring game, giving Tatum extra room to score the 27 we need to cash this ticket.<\/p>\n
