Sacramento Kings vs Memphis Grizzlies Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Kings lost a 130-125 shootout on the road against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. The Grizzlies landed in a similar shootout in a 134-124 home victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. This will be the first of four head-to-head meetings in a season series the Grizz swept 3-0 last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grizz Look To Continue Dominance Over Kings<\/h3>\n

The Sacramento Kings hold a 52-47 advantage in the all-time regular season series over the Memphis Grizzlies, however the Grizz have won the last six meetings, including a 127-102 road victory in Sacramento last December.<\/p>\n

Memphis looked good in its 134-124 contest against the Brooklyn Nets. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane were the game’s leading scorers with 38 points a piece. Amazingly, they also tied for the team lead in assists with seven. Steven Adams led the team in rebounds with 13 boards. It was a back-and-forth contest until Memphis seized control early in the second half and never looked back.<\/p>\n

The Grizz do need some help improving their defense as they allow 123.8 points per game, good for 28th in the league. Both Danny Green and Jaren Jackson Jr remain out as they rehab from serious injuries. Ziaire Williams is also questionable with a knee injury.<\/p>\n

Kings Seek First Victory This Season<\/h3>\n

The Sacramento Kings hung tough against a superior Golden State Warriors team but fell short in the fourth quarter and lost 130-125. De’Aaron Fox paced his team with 26 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field. Fox also led the team in assists with ten while Domantas Sabonis patrolled the paint with 14 rebounds.<\/p>\n

The Kings are still in search of their first victory as they currently have an 0-3 record. Sacramento enters this contest 16th in the league with 114 points a game. They have been well below average defensively as they rank 23rd with 118.7 points allowed per game. The Kings need to improve defensively and limit their fouls to start picking up some victories.<\/p>\n

Sacramento Kings vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction<\/h2>\n

Both these teams play at a breakneck pace and with a total of 236.5, the points will surely follow. De’Aaron Fox and Ja Morant have both led their teams in scoring, while putting up some amazing numbers.<\/p>\n

This matchup has me looking at a prop I rarely play in game’s leading scorer. It’s essentially a two-horse race between Morant at -225 and Fox at +240. The next player is Desmond Bane at longshot odds of +1400.<\/p>\n

It feels like Fox’s odds are a bit overinflated based on him scoring 26, 33 and 36 in the Kings’ first three games. Let’s take a swing at some plus money with Fox to lead the game in scoring.<\/p>\n
