Newcastle vs Aston Villa Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Will it be a case of “new manager bounce” here on Saturday as former Arsenal coach and Villarreal Europa League-winning coach Unai Emery takes over the reins at Villa Park after former boss Steven Gerrard was fired last week by the club.<\/p>\n

Villa didn\u2019t even wait for a new manager to take charge for a change in style as they blasted their way past Brentford this past weekend with three goals scored inside the opening 14 minutes of action. The Villains will no doubt be hoping for more of the same here again against Newcastle on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Newcastle, for their part, has been on a monumental run this season, being one of only three clubs in the league (alongside Manchester City and Arsenal) to lose just one game all year. Newcastle has yet to lose a game at St. James\u2019 Park, with back-to-back wins in their last two home matches.<\/p>\n

These two teams have played remarkably close over recent seasons, registering five draws over their last ten head-to-heads meetings. Two of the last three meetings in this venue also ended in a stalemate.<\/p>\n

Danks Still In Charge For Newcastle Game<\/h3>\n

Caretaker manager Aaron Danks will still be at the helm for Aston Villa for Saturday\u2019s game against Newcastle as new boss Unai Emery won\u2019t be available in time for the weekend. But that shouldn\u2019t concern Aston Villa too much as they come off that fantastic 4-0 beatdown over Brentford this past weekend.<\/p>\n

With optimism at the club seemingly much improved over the last week and striker Danny Ings coming off scoring a brace on Sunday against the Bees as well, Villa may well feel this is the perfect time to snap their current winless road record in the EPL this season.<\/p>\n

Phenomenal Defense Remains Key For Newcastle<\/h3>\n

After a fantastic victory over Tottenham this past weekend, optimism at Newcastle arguably hasn\u2019t been as high since the Kevin Keegan glory days all the way back in the late 1990s. The Magpies currently sit in a Champions League qualification spot, with Liverpool being the only team to beat them through a ridiculously late goal.<\/p>\n

A large part of that success has come via Newcastle\u2019s impressive defense this season, which has allowed just ten goals all year to opponents (the lowest overall tally in the league), and the data backs those numbers up also. Only West Ham is allowing less overall defensive xGA over the month of October than Newcastle has.<\/p>\n

Newcastle vs Aston Villa Best Bet<\/h2>\n

Newcastle has been a phenomenal bet for backers all season as they continue to outperform the market consistently, winning outright as +220 underdogs last weekend against Tottenham as just one of many examples.<\/p>\n

However, they face a resurgent Aston Villa team here on Saturday who, while the Brentford result may have just been a one-game sample size, nevertheless came out like a completely different team in that game. That confidence will no doubt grow even more with the news of Unai Emery’s imminent arrival at the club also.<\/p>\n

We expect this to be another close, competitive game here on Saturday between two quality sides that likely ends all square once again. We\u2019re happy to take a piece of the outright draw in this one at a healthy +275 price<\/strong> this weekend over in Newcastle.<\/p>\n\n\n
